  1. Well, I'm over being scared. I feeing better by the minute. I have started walking 2 times a day. I have to walk, to help with the gas pains I'm having. I walked about 2 mile this morning and feel great. I can only eat 3 or 4 spoons of broth. But otherwise this went better than I thought.
  2. I too was totally scared out of my witts about having surgery. I had surgery 2 days ago and everything went just find. I'm not in any pain. I sometimes get a gas bubble and it kind of hurt but I go for a short walk and that helps make it go away. RestlessMonkey and ours were so encouraging. I felt I was in good hands here. Goodluck to you and know that we will be praying for you.

To think, I was about to cancel because I was so scared and unsur of myself:thumbup:.

  7. RestlessMonkey, I think it's just having sugery in general that I'm worried about. As with everything in life "you always want a successful outcome." Yes, I have had surgery before and it was still the same. I think I always have generalized anxiety.

  9. Tomorrow (aug 12, 09) I'm being banded. I know I will be starting a new life. I am so scared that I feel like I will just to run. I keep asking myself if this is the right thing to do. I am so terrified of the unknown. I have read so many stories here, some with happy endings and others that terrify me. I am stuck second guessing myself. Please help, tell me has anyone else felt this way?

  11. Hello, all of you Arizona bandsters. I live in Avondale, AZ. I getting banded on August 12, 09. I am so glad that there are so many of us from Arizona here. I went to Bridges Centre at St. Lukes Medical Center and Dr. Daniel Fang is my surgeon. I was referred by several of my friends to Bridges. I have been told by my Cadiac Spec. that Dr. Fang is the top doctor in AZ, that has performed more surgeries than any other doctor. The St. Luke Bridges Centre for Weight Management Program earned the Centre of Excellence Award by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). Hope this little tidbit of information will help someone that is looking to find a doctor.
