So sorry that the Lap Band did not work for you. What does your doctor say? Why does he say that it didn't work? I am not banded yet. I am wanting to, but I am totally self pay and don't have the money yet.

Do you know how much he charges? I live a couple of hours from Nashville and I would like to get the lap band, but I am self-pay, so I am trying to find the best price. How are you feeling since you got the lapband? Do you regret it? Thanks!

Hi, I just recently found out about the lap band. I am 27 yrs. old, 250lbs. and I also have Hypothyroidism. I have been overweight all my life and it is really difficult for me to lose weight. I am currently living in Nicaragua as a missionary and I was thinking about getting banded in Costa Rica. It's not that far from me and I know it is a lot cheaper there. The only thing is that before I do it I would like to talk to someone that has had it done there and their experience. Thanks, Charity Marroquin
