I just had the Lap Band Surgery On Friday Morning the 10 Of July. I did not think it was going to be so painful. I was fine coming out of surgery, and I did not have any side affects from the anaesthesia, but a few hours later is when I experienced so much pain, for the gas that was in my stomach. My left shoulder and the left side of my neck were  throbing for several hours untill I started walking it off. I had a huge hernia about the size of a plum that could be why I was in so much pain. I am home now and feeling much better after the last two days of suffering. The doctor was great and the surgery went well. I cant wait to see my progress. I lost 5 lbs already, and its only been 2 days.Liza
