  1. I can't tell you what will happen after they fill you leak. I too appear to have a leak and I'm not happy about it. I don't understand how you can get a leak when we can't even see the port, tubing or band.
  2. Has anyone experieced a leak? I'm going back to this week but it appears I have a slow leak somewhere as I was 1.5cc lower than I had been 5 weeks prior. I can already tell my restriction is gone from the refill I had 2 weeks ago which has me really bummed. If you've had a leak can you tell me where and what cause it? Thanks!

    Easter Challenge Anyone?

    I'm down .9 this week and very happy with that. I was only able to exercise 2 times last week as I got a head cold. I'm now at 198.6. I added my info the the spreadsheet. I have 8.6 to my goal and only 5 weeks to go. Not sure I'll make it but I'm happy to be losing. Hope you all have a great week!

    Easter Challenge Anyone?

    I lost 1lb this week which puts me at 199.5... i'm so excited to be out of the 200's!!!!! My weightloss has been slow but I'm still seeing the difference and know I can do it. Not sure I'll make my challenge weight but I'll be close. Keep up the great work everyone!

    Weightloss Challenge

    I lost 4lbs this year putting me at 200.5 so very close to being out of the 200's :-). I know I'm not going to make my goal as I seem to be losing slower for the most part. I've lost a total of 10.5 with this challenge and I'm happy for every single pound. Hope everyone is doing well.

    Easter Challenge Anyone?

    I had a great week and my last fill finally started to work and I think I'm at my sweet spot. I lost 4 lbs this week putting me at 200.5. I'm so excited that I'm so close to being out of the 200's. I don't remember where I started at for our challenge but I think I'm progressing along well. Hope everyone is having a good week.
  7. I was banded on 8/19/09 and until yesterday would been able to tell you I'd never been stuck. But yesterday, it happened to me. I hadn't eaten much but what I did eat didn't want to go down. I've had 5 fills and I'm at 7.5cc.
  8. I was banded on 8/19/09 and have lost 38 lbs. I had my 5th fill last week and feel like I'm really at my sweet spot now. I'm hoping to see more weight come off and not have to go for another fill for sometime. I do exercise 4-5 days each week which has helped. I've also lost 2 pant sizes which has been wonderful. It is great to see how others are doing who have been banded for about the same amount of time.

    Easter Challenge Anyone?

    Not sure what happened but I gained .5 this week. I had a fill this past Thursday and usually that has me losing and I'm eating less than before the fill. I have restriction as I'm only able to eat small meals and I get full. I also am only eating 3 meals each day with 1 small snack. I sure hope my body realizes it needs to drop weight as I'm already excercising 4-5 days a week for 1 to 1.5 hours each time. Current Weight is 204.5.:confused:

    Easter Challenge Anyone?

    I'd like to join hope it isn't to late. I'm doing a Valentines challenge but want to do this one too as it will help keep me accountable. My weight today is 204 and I'd like to be at least at 190 by Easter.

    Weightloss Challenge

    I stayed exactly this same this week. Which keeps me me at a total of 6 lost since we started so I have 14 more to go with the challenge I set for myself. I'm still at 204. I was suppose to go in for a fill last week and had to rescheudle because my work was crazy. I go in this Thursday and I know that will help me continue to lose. I hope everyone is having a good week. I keep reminding myself it is one step at a time and the finish line will come in time.

    Weightloss Challenge

    I stayed focused this week and I'm happy to say I lost 2.1. Which puts me at a total of 6 since we started so I have 14 more to go with the challenge I set for myself. I'm now at 204. I'm going in for a fill this week so I'll start seeing even more of a loss after that. Yes, I exercise. I have two friends I workout with which helps a lot. We met at the gym at 4:30am Monday through Friday. Monday/Friday we do cardio on the elyptical or treadmill; Tuesday/Thursday we do cardio and yoga and Wednesday we do cardio and strength training. I've really been able to tell a difference in my body. As for abs, the yoga and strength training I do all work abs and I don't do any set-ups at all. Hope everyone has a great week.
  15. I've had 4 fills so far... one in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. I haven't noticed a difference in how I felt.

    Weightloss Challenge

    OMG... I had my first gain since I started this process. It is a little one and I know I wasn't good over the weekend as we were out of town but I'm not happy about it. I gained .2 this week. That puts me at a total of 3.9 since we started so I have 16.1 more to go with the challenge I set for myself. I'm now at 206.1. I really need to get back on track and watch what I eat when I'm out of town. I didn't get any exercise in over the weekend and didn't come close to having enough Water to drink. Today is a new day and I've started off good with going to the gym this morning. This will be a better week!
  18. I can eat 1/2 a burger w/o the bun some time sand others times I can only eat 1/4 of the burger. I tried to eat a whopper jr with the bun once and after only 2 bites was choking on it.

    Weightloss Challenge

    I lost 1.1 this week. That puts me at a total of 4.1 since we started so I have 15.9 more to go with the challenge I set for myself. I'm now at 205.9. It is great to see everyone providing their updates... it is really encouraging. I know we can all do this and the support really helps!

    Trying not to give up.

    Sally, don't give up as you are going in the right direction by seeing what you have been doing and wanting to change. The one thing I've had to remind myself a lot is that everyone loses at a different rate even with the band. We can't compare ourselves to anyone else. We just have to do what we know is right and enjoy whatever loss we have and move forward. Enjoy your trip and use the time you are away to get back on track while having a great time.
  22. You are not alone... my first fill had me at 5.5cc and i didn't feel much restriction. I had my 4th fill and i'm now at 8cc and i'm finally feeling restriction. Just hang in there you will get to restriction when it is right for you.
  23. I've had 4 fills now and each has been 4-5 weeks apart. I would personally never go for a fill earlier than 4 weeks from the pervious fill as I don't think I would be fully adjusted. I always schedule my next fill prior to leaving the doctors office to ensure I can get an appointment.

    Okay, I forgot to post last week had to much going on. I lost .5 last week and 1.8 this week. That puts me at a total of 3 since we started so I have 17 more to go with the challenge I set for myself. I'm now at 207... I can't wait to be under 200... I know it will come. Hope you all had a great Christmas!
  25. I forgot to post my update last week. I lost 1/2 lb. Didn't make my goal but feel really good that I've not gained and continually had a loss.
