  2. I had removal and bypass same surgery. Insurance would cover removal if I did it by its own. My band slipped. Even if I waited Yeats they refused to cover RNY. So, I was self pay. I did same visit BC I only get three weeks off per year (they are set ) and price difference was 3000. Got to live insurance but I needed band out due to slip. I was ticking time bomb so to speak.   3. I had bypass 4/29 been stalled for weeks. Glad to know I'm not alone. I keep losing and gaining the same one pound. I'm a revision but I feel like it should be coming off more.   5. I'm a college teacher. Had surgery on Tuesday taught 90 mins following Monday and four hours Wednesday. I was off from my full time teaching job. I was very tired.   11. It could be insurance thing but my doctor also did if my stomach looked "angry" he wouldn't do revision. Just had two week post op visit I'm down 16 Better than going up! Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App

  14. Hi. I was actually going in for check ups for my band when we found out it slipped: ( my Dr made me only do but and psych again for revision. I actually did go to but each month prior to surgery and I had to attend pre op seminar for bypass. Each Dr is different though. My insurance would only pay for band removal and not if I did revision on same day.   17. I'm sorry to hear this. I had my band removal and revision at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT. They are very big on post op care. Have you called surgeon's office? Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
