  2. This is a side effect that can happen especially if you have suffered from reflux in the past there is a good chance that it will get worst. I still don't regret having the lap band out and being sleeved in going to be an acidy skinny b***h soon lol
  3. That actually doesn't say sleeve .. just kidding!!! cool tatt i guess
  4. Thank you for the response I will be asking my doctor in regards to this I am so not looking forward to a gastric bypass anytime soon I am glad there is an alternative
  5. Now you know the answer to this lol use a soy protein you'll be ok
  6. So I'm almost 5 months post op and have been having acid reflux since I was moved to solid foods. I had an upper GI my sleeve is perfect doctor told me that he secretly was hoping that I has a stricture that could have easily been fixed and not a weak esophageal sphincter. turns out that when your stomach is cut out there is a portion of that sphincter that is cut away sometimes. Well that just weakened my already damaged esophageal sphincter more so now I can do a gnarly trick, if I bend over after I eat it will all come up.. Sucks I tell ya.. For now I'm being treated with acid reducing meds and time to see if my symptoms get better as I drop more weight. Worst case scenario I would have to be converted to bypass to fix my acid problems.. Anybody else on here that can relate to my story..
  7. Wear a binder or some sort of support so that it doesn't hurt when you move around I wore a support cami that worked perfectly
  8. you keep saying you have pain on your left side that is probably an indicator that you are full. Stop eating and I'm sure this pain will subside try doing a couple of days of liquid to see of the pain eases up.. I had a Lapland before my sleeve and I would always complain of left side/ shoulder pain when I would over eat

  14. I wore a compression camisole it helped hold all my jelly from giggling and it felt good to feel supported I had no issues with achy incisions
  15. I jump on the scale only once a week anymore than that drives me bananas
  16. I wore a compression cami to keep everything together from stretching when I moved
  17. Sounds like you're healing it's normal for it to still be swollen and hard at the surgery site. If it becomes red or hot to the touch then you should worry..
  18. Be patient and stay off the scale weigh in only once a week the weight will come off promise
  19. Omg wish I could only eat that much I'm at around 1100
  20. . The skin is removed after it is pickled by the person who's going to eat it lol
  21. Ok so I'm going to be really mean because clearly you are clueless... You just had 85% of your stomach removed!!! for gods sake think next time you shove some solid food in your mouth.. Your staple line isn't healed up and you should follow your doctors orders to progress your diet gradually. Causing a stall should be the least of your worries.. You should be worried about causing a leak..
