  1. My surgery was on June 15, since then I have had only one fill (aug 9-1.5 ccs). My second is schedule for oct 15....I am feeling very little restriction! As I am reading, it seems people are getting fills every 2-3 weeks, I had to wait 8! I have been doing ok with weight loss but it is by my will power, not the band...Any suggestions on speeding these fills up? I'm feeling very discuraged and see myself slipping back into my old habbits...
  2. CAPPY, I was banded June 15, 2009. I have only had one fill and do not feel very restricted. I too have been having difficultly with eating too much and the psyo of overeating! I re-joined weight watchers and have found this to be very helpful!!! It gives me guidelines and I feel with the band I am able to stick to it. I am going thourgh a rough spot these past few weeks but I'm still going to the meetings. Of course, I don't tell them I have been banded....lol!
  3. Randiedwards - I too am getting banded on the 15 (woo hoo!) I just finished up on day two...had a harder time too. By biggest problem was a headache...I took some advil and tried to keep busy..that seemed to help. Let's just take it one day at a time! Keep in touch! Sandi
  4. I'm scheduled for June 15...getting a little nervous! Doing a little second guessing..maybe cold feet?
  5. I just found this site - It's great! I am really looking forward to having a place I can go to with questions and/or support. I am a little nervous now that things have been approved and I have a date set (cold feet). I have been reading about post op and got a little freaked out about the restrictions (no pills...no fibery food...etc.)
