  1. I am so glad you posted this thread. It helps me to recognize my non scale victory's. I walk 5 miles every so often. I wear regular panties and for me that's a nice change. I've notice my underwear revolution.
  2. I was thinking of going in for an unfill because I was finding it hard to eat certain foods, but my sister & the nurse from my Dr.'s office helped me realize I was eating the wrong foods or eating the wrong way. To begin I went in about 3 weeks ago because I felt too loose and I had been eating just about anything and gained some weight... (about 5 lbs) The Dr. said I had not gained but what she didn't know and later found out through me, was that I had lost more weight since I saw her last but that through bad eating habbits that resurfaced ie.(eating and drinking, not chewing food down all the way) I had gained a few lbs. She filled me and I went on my way. I was doing ok and then started to plateu and regurgitate water or food that had not gone down, pretty soon I would try eating things I knew were not ok to eat, because they down (candy). I would also eat different things if I was out with people I did not want to tell I had the band. I believe my band had some swelling around it and almost went in today for an unfill. I called the Dr.'s office and explained to the nurse that I really thought something was wrong, she asked me if I was eating too fast, drinking when eating, eating foods that were not right and then my sister confirmed it for me when I told her the same. They both told me to stick to liquids for a few days till swelling goes down. i'm having soup now but would like to know if anyone has experienced anything like this.

  9. Hello Everyone, GREAT Thread! I was banded May 21,09. I had my first fill today not much pain at all. My Dr. asked that I lie on my back and left both legs a bit as if I was doing crunches for my lower body, I did and she felt with her hands for the pot. She swabbed me with alcohol to clean the area. I closed my eyes because I am very afraid of needles. Small prick. Dr. says she put 5cc in I had my eyes shut the whole time. Not much restriction at first. My stomach growls a bit. I had Water and a yogurt, some Peanut Butter, I was hungry.

  11. Hi everyone, I have a question regarding port location please help. I have read many posting about the port being located under the breast by the bra line. However my port is much lower under right breast between mid section & belly button more towards the right. I have the realize band. I am tall 5'11. Just wondering if anyone else has the port lower than bra line?
