  1. I did crush them, that's why it's so frustrating. Also, why is it that I still have this feeling when I took the pills last night?
  2. Hello All... I had my surgery Tuesday, 06-24-14, and I am not sure what's going on. After taking pills I have this sensation that something is stuck in my throat. It feels like a lump. Did any one else have this issue? What worked for you? What didn't work for you? What did your doctor say? I've had this sensation since taking pills last night. I had Soup that had little bitty chunks in it and it worked great, it wasn't until I took the pills did I have this stuck feeling. The day before when I was on Clear liquids I had this same stuck feeling after taking pills and the doctor extended my hospital stay, but no resolution. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP, this is a horrible feeling, it's so frustrating. Other then this I feel great. Thank you everyone, I really appreciate your feedback. -fatblasting p.s. I did slice/crush the pills.
  3. Soooo , I just started my post-op full liquid diet and I spiced up my cream of chicken Soup to give it more of a tortilla soup flare. And as I am eating this ensemble of spice and cheap "add a can of water" soup, I have this thought. I don't think I am suppose to be eating spicy foods. Your thoughts?! Should I, a full liquid, fresh out the "miserable" hospital, bariatric newbie be eating spicy foods? Chime in Please!!!!

  8. I have memory loss but that was because I was in a coma for 19 days....Due to complications with the surgery...I have not even heard of anyone else having this except for those who went through months and months of issues..... It is good to ask any question on here..... @RJ'S/beginning .... is it an active thing or was it a temporary loss?

  12. Hey All, I am so flipping conflicted! I really want the VSG, but I am SOOOOOO concerned about the memory loss. Me, being at the height of my career; being sharp, witty, and fast-on-my-feet (theoretically talking) is KEY to career advancement. Can you guys/gals give me your personal stories and tell me what your long term experience of memory loss has been. I'm ready to take my life tot he next level!!! -Mike
  13. Im not telling anyone because frankly its no ones business, if they find out so be it. But I don't need a whole bunch of people parading around worrying about what I did when they got a bucket load of their own problems, yes skinny people have problems too...lol. I have always been like this, I am not losing weight because I care what people think, I am losing weight because their is certain thing I want to do in life, and their are certain clothes I like, and most importantly MY HEALTH. If your not telling because you dont want people to judge you then your motives are wrong, dont tell becuase frankly its no one elses business. Micah P.
