When someone starts boycotting money because it doesn't have "In God We Trust" on it, that is making a religious statement and it is more that showing that they are not ashamed to stand up for what they believe in. It is destroying the commerce of the country in order to get their way. What are they saying that they are standing up for? That they believe in God? They can carry a Bible or wear a crucifix to stand up for that.

I am just wondering, What happened to Jesus during the missing thirty years? Did he get married as some claim? If he didn't get married, Was it because he was Gay? The Gospels say nothing about this time period. Was God a Conservative War Lord? Was Jesus a Liberal Peace-Maker? Questions. So many questions.

The fact is this whole thing is cyclical, and the scientists who are not on the payroll of the government to do these studies are saying the jury's still out -- there's no such evidence there? Not on the payroll of the US Government, but on the payroll of Oil and coal companies, and oil and coal lobbying groups!! Or did you forget to mention that Reverend?

But that is a one way street. If people who don't think that "In God We Trust" belongs on US currency and boycotted money with "In God We Trust" on it, they would be "left out of the game". How would people feel if "Satan is King" was placed on all US Currency? Would the Christians and Muslims boycott the money? How would they eat, buy clothing and conduct normal business? This is just another example of people only respecting their own beliefs, but not those of other people. Money does not need to make a religious statement.

The reason is that the lifespan of a coin is many times greater than that of paper money, so it is a cost efficiency situation. I just hope that dollars and quarters are not easily confused like the last time. I haven't seen the new dollar coins yet personally.

My mother went into the hospital on a Monday as here health was failing with metastasized cancer in her reproductive and abdominal area, after having each breast removed over the past two years. That night, I visited her after work and because my step father had hired our upstairs neighbor to be mom's private nurse and because visiting hours and her 12 hour shift both ended at 8pm, I gave her a ride home. On the way I said, "Harriet, Rae is going to die on Friday". She asked me how I knew. I said, "Trust me, she will die on Friday". When she asked me again, I answered, "Because Friday is my birthday". On Tuesday or Wednesday, my step father and I had a conference. Back in those days the doctors did not believe in sufficient pain killers for the terminally ill. We pleaded with the doctor for higher doses, but he kept saying it was unethical. My 5'4" (almost) 43 year old mother who used to have a figure that would stop traffic and weighed 130 pounds before cancer, now weighed less than 80 pounds and could not eat to get stronger and the doctors would not operate until she got stronger and worst of all, the operation would just entail removing more body parts; there was no hope of long term survival or even short term quality of life. At that point, we made the decision in concert, that pain killers would be the only medication that was given to her. That Friday, as I predicted, she died, on my 19th birthday. April 17, 1964. The headstone on her grave reads: July 4, 1921 and April 17, 1964, the anniversary of the birth of the USA and the anniversary of my birth.

Rather than go to another country or pay through the nose for a White Baby in this country, please consider adopting a Black baby. This type of adoption is a gift both to you and the child, and it helps the USA become stronger as it breaks down the artificial barriers which separate us. There have been some people on the left who have been spreading innuendo about Rudy Giuliani and his wearing of female clothing on quite a few occasions. I am as Liberal as can be and I detest most of Rudy's policies, which I got to know first hand as a citizen of Brooklyn during all eight years of his reign as mayor of NYC. I lived in the district which gave him the lowest percentage of votes of all the 5 boroughs and I am very familiar and similar to Rudy: We are less that one year apart in age, both born in Brooklyn and both Italian-American, but I was a Dodger fan and he was a Yankee; a typical front runner and sore loser. Anyway, Rudy would be a lousy president and there are many things the American public should know about him before voting him in for what happened on 911. What did happen on 911? Did Rudy stop the attack? Did Rudy pull someone out of a burning building? Did he look like more of a leader that BuSh? Well, one out of three ain't bad. But getting back to my point. Rudy dressed like a woman on those occasions for an annual charity event and no matter how much I dislike the man, I think that people both from the left or the right should use real ammunition against Rudy, not the blanks that they are shooting now with the (covert) transvestite accusations.
