  1. Exactly, I started to pull out the clothes I wore a couple of years ago and they were not anything I would wear again except a couple of pairs of jeans. I decided that once my clothes get to big I am going to immediately give them away.
  2. Nice that you have graduated to soft foods. I cannot wait until I can, I am so sick of broth. I am still having a hard time drinking Protein shake or even getting in 5 small meals. My surgery was a revision from lapband to sleeve so recovery has been slow. The weight has been coming off rapidly which is good, I was advised since it was a revision it might take longer I have lost 32 pounds but that includes pre-op. Are you guys having difficulty sleeping at night?

  4. My surgery was 08/31 and just trying to sleep is living hell. I think the most sleep i have gotten is a total of 5 hours at one time. Trying tonight zyquil to see if that helps.

  6. Hello I was denied at first for the sleeve revision but was approved for the lapband removal for not having 6 months of nutrional visits. My doctor did a peer to peer conference with the insurance and was approved immediately. I had surgery on 08/31. He sent in all the information on first surgery had the 6 months of nutrional visits and that everytime I went to get a fill or unfill I spoke to nutrionist. Hope that helps!!!! Not sure why people have to hire and advocate cause this is what we are paying our doctors to do. Or at least I found an amazing Bariatric team that did all the leg work for me

  12. Help!!!! I am stuck in a plateau, I have not lost any weight in 6 weeks. Been eating approximately 1200 calories a day and getting over 65 grams of Protein. I walk approximately 2.5 miles a day 5 days a week, and alternate leg and arm exercise at the gym 5 days a week. I drink at least least 80 oz of Water a day. Any suggestion of what I can be doing to lose weight? Thanks

  21. Thanks I am glad you are doing well. I was able to go through the holidays remaining the same weight. It feels really good to know you are able to eat and not end up sick... Good luck !!!

  23. I ended up getting .50 removed! I finally can eat and drink, hope this gets me through the holidays w/o gaining weight!!!
  24. Have them take some of your fill out and try drinking water. They kept doing that until I could drink water w/o any gurgling or pain. Today I feel like a complete new person.
  25. Thank you everyone for you advise. I ended up getting .50 cc removed from my band. As soon as it was removed instant relief.. Wish I wouldn't have waited that long to have it removed, however my doctor is 2.5 hours away from where I live....
  26. I am on my way for an unfill also... Had .10 cc put in my band on Wednesday could eat fine on Friday and then it's been downhill since then, yesterday I could not eat or drink without getting sick. This has been the worst experience of my life!!!! Now just have to get to dr which is 2.5 hours away....
  27. Need advice, I got a fill on Wednesday it was just a small fill .10 cc but it took the nurse over 5 minutes to find my port and ended up jabbing me multiple times. Since then I don't know if I am swollen from stress from the fill or starting my period but I am having difficult swallowing my pills, I have only eaten mushies. Don't know how long I should wait to see if I should get an unfill or have patience???
  28. I just went in and got a .10 cc and it has made a huge difference, if you have stopped losing weight or hungry between meals go in and get one. It really does help!
