I had band to RNY revision 4/1/16. I just had to have 3 month preop appointments with the nutritionist. My insurance required that. Then I had to see pulmonologist, and that was my surgeon requesting that. My insurance denied me at first. I filed an appeal and typed up a 3 pg letter explaining why I needed this done. I am 3 months post op. I'm down 45 lbs. My hair is starting to come out some, not much. I have a lot of hair! However, hair loss is temporary. I even had it with the band. I have seen many people that are much further out than me. I think they look great. Just be faithful about taking your Vitamins. I will be getting my labs done soon.
