Thanks so much Lianna, I thought everyone had forgot about me. LOL, I'm a big baby. Shouldn't be big much longer. I just got my cell phone so it would work in Monterrey so I can call Amy when I get there and I guess that is the last thing to do. I had my sit down and cry yesterday. I am going crazy for a coke. Oh well, can't have one any more so deal with it. Thanks for thinking of me. I kinda new here so don't everyone know me but it feels good to know someone is thinking of you. Thank you so much Gracie, I hope everyone that's already had surgery is doing great and those of us who are waiting will have uneventful surgery. I hope I'm scared for no reason. Heck, I've never even been to Mexico and I am going and having surgery. I am looking so forward to putting this weight issue behind me. It has consumed me. I pray that Dr. Sanchez can help me with this fight. I'm looking so forward to meeting Amy as well. Thanks for the well wishes. I weigh 255 but at my highest I was at 260. I even called his office again and asked and they so no preop. I just was so afraid at my weight of a huge liver and getting NO band. But I think you are all right. I feel horrible. I don't want to feel this weigh for surgery. I went out to feed the dog this morning came in wiping sweat and about passed out. I have very low blood sugar my who life anyway. So, I think I will just watch what I eat and try to reduce my caloried instead of the just liquids. Thank you all for always being there for all of us. I am self pay on Monday but I'm having it done in Monterrey Mexico with Dr. Sanchez. I'll be having my after care done here by Dr. Curry. It is 8500.00 for the surgery then airfare was 1200.00 so about 10,000.00. Then your fills are free if you have them done in Mexico but I've found it cheaper to have them done here than pay for airfare. Most places I checked in the states was around 16000.00 to 28,000.00. There are many financing options such as health loans and things like that at low interest rates. Hope this helps. You can find lots of info on this site and many wonderful people. Sherri

I can't give you an opinion yet but I did lots of research and it was between Ortiz and Sanchez and the hospital in my opinion in Monterrey is bigger and that is why I chooze Dr. Sanchez and because everything I heard about him was brilliant and his office staff are all fabulous. I think Dr. Ortiz and Sanchez are both wonderful doctors in my humble opinion. I will know first hand after Monday. Best of luck, Sherri

Hi everyone, Happy 4th of July. As you all know myself, Amy and fishy will have already had our surgery this time next week. Dr. Sanchez's office has told me no preop diet. But, after everyone else on here being on one I thought I would do one to. I've been on it for a coupld of days and when I wake up I feel horrible, then try to drink a slim fast and feel worse. I have almost cut out my cokes, 90 % and that's been hard. What I worry so much about is how in the world am I going to fill after surgery for a couple of weeks on this. I'm so hungry now I keep a headache, no energy and sick at my stomach. I hope someone has some answers that has done been there. Thanks everyone, Sherri

Yes, there are the new caramel, and chocolate calcium chews and they are like a treat. They have them at Walmart and Sams club. Very very good and much better than a big ole pill. Sherri

Are you taking your paid meds or did they give you any? If not, call your Dr. and have him call you in some liquid Loritab, I've already got me 4 bottles ready and I tried it 2 weeks ago instead of my tablets to see if it was going to work for after surgery and it is very good for relieving pain. Hope this helps and my prayers are with you as I know I will be hurting this time next week. Keep us informed as I want to know what to expect so now I know to expect horrible port pain. Sherri

Hey girlfriend, Dr. Sanchez office, (Judy) said all we need is D.L. and Birth Certificate with the official seal thing. I went to get a passport 4 weeks ago and they said he took 4 to 6 weeks and it would be too chancey. Since we're leaving in a couple of days I would just grab the B.C.
