  1. On your ticker factory after you pick out the one you want you copy and paste the first one and only copy from the words img - img and then paste it to your signature on the user cp. This will work I promise.
  2. I was on mushies at 7 days so I think you'll be fine. I've never had any problems. Some docs are more strict than others but I didn't even have to have preop and everything has been perfect. Congrats on your surgery.
  3. Every year at Christmas just like everyone else we have the same things. Tonight after not eating anything all day except for ceral I went to my Mom and Dad's for our annual Christmas Eve dinner. There was Turkey, dressing, ham, sweet potatoes, corn, mashed potatoes, vegall casserole, mac and cheese, greenbeans, slaw, hasbrown casserole, pies, cakes, puddings, salads, everything, and since this is my first Christmas with my band this is what I ate: 1 small piece of ham 1 bite of vegall casserole 1/2 piece of chocolate pie I could have never done this before but just wasn't hungry. I thank God for my band.
  4. Hi there and welcome. I too had tried everything including phenphen and the band is the first thing that's worked for me. My weightloss has slowed down some but still I could have never done it without my band.
  5. Yes you are, you'll be getting the best of both worlds. You'll love Dr. Zapata and they're whole staff and Dr. Curry is top notch. I wouldn't let anyone else do my fills even though they're free with Dr. Zapata.
  6. It's officially Christmas. Merry Christmas to everyone, especially all of my friends here on the July thread. Hope everyone is having the best Christmas ever. You are all very special to me.
  7. Welcome, You've found a great site for info and friends. Glad to have you.
  8. Dr. Curry's number and contact info are on the address I gave you. I am positive he can help you if you just give him a call.
  9. Not really but you don't want to keep on doing it. I was doing it daily for 2 weeks and didn't want to loose my band as I had to pay cash for mine so I went for a slight unfill. I also wasn't losing much being too tight but now, losing back to 3 to 4 pounds per week. So, that being said too much fill won't make you loose faster, just make you pb. If you have anymore questions feel free too ask.
  10. Dr. C is my fill doctor and he is wonderful. If you have the money is would be great. I also know about the money thing. I didn't have the money it takes in the states because I didn't want to borrow it or finance it so I took it out of savings and had it done in Monterrey. You have to do what ever you feel in your heart you can do. Dr. C is great.
  11. go to www.ready4achange.com for any info on Dr. Zapata. He has done thousands and his partner done mine and he'd done more than 7000. They will replace them for free if you have any problems but his complication rate is less than 1/2 percent. He is fabulous. They will answerany questions you have there on the website. Talk to Judy, she is the one that helped me so much. I have pictures of the hospital, guesthouse, and all of that if you would like to see. Pm if you have any questions. I've had absolutely no problems and am completely satisified.
  12. Productive Burp, Actually it is getting something stuck and then having to throw it up. I've done it several times but not much since my slight unfill, now it seems to be perfect.
  13. Mine are all a little bigger than tylenol, kind of long shaped but I don't have any problems. I am just right fill wise and still have no problem. I take the flintstones gummi bear vitamins, they're delicious.
  14. Don't have any info to help you there but just wanted to welcome you and congrats on your decision. You will love your band.
  15. Yes Steph, That time of month gives me nightmares. I can eat anything and everything and I've got to where I won't weigh that whole week or so. Okay cookie making machine, enough already. Your going to turn into Martha Stewart. LOL. Well, I don't know if it's good news or bad but I can tell my kidney stones have moved from way up at the top by my kidney to way low down in my bladder. It hurts sooooooo bad to pee now and it's killing me. I can hardly pee and there's blood in it and my lil brother said that means it is just right there so everyone pray that it will pass. I've got so much to pay that my insurance hasn't paid on my 2 hospital stays that I sure hope I don't have to have that surgery. That would be another 4 thousand I would have to pay after insurance and I just hope to say myself another stay I can pass it. I have several of those percocets left for pain so I'm going to drink, drink drink and hope it passes. I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and has an extra special Christmas.
  16. Congrats and keep up the walking and I agree with gasx. Also, make sure you sip very very slowly. That's were I got into trouble was trying to drink too fast. Happy recovery.
  17. I think you'll be fine and it's just a wonderful problems too have. I started off the same way and if you keep your fills right it will keep up. I had lost 50 pounds in 3 months and then got my fill too tight and it stopped for almost a month. Then, I got a slight unfill Thanksgiving weekend and I've lost 14 pounds in the past month since. It will do great if your fill is right but even too tight can slow it down so good luck and happy losing.
  18. You know what, you just can't reason with an unreasonable person. I will not be back on this thread. Some people just don't get it. You guys can have this thread. Party on.
  19. Have I got the answer for you. Dr. Curry. He's the one that answers all of the problems on the complication thread and he's my doctor. He's a doll number one and very very experienced. He's very helpful, supportive and works great with your insurance and he hits your port right on and fills are a breeze. Here's his website. I just seen him Thanksgiving week. Lots of people on here use him. He's attached to Deaconess Hospital across from the University in Cinci. www.thebanddoctor.com
  20. I agree. I don't like him a bit. I think he ought to keep his fat comments to hisself. He's not the best thing in the world to look at as far as I'm concerned.
  21. Happy Birthday. Let's see. I asked you how old you were the last time I see you last month and you were younger than me, let's see what would that be, lol. Just kidding. We all think your the tops and we all appreciate all your help here on the site and I especially thank you for all of your help at the office with my fills. You rock.
  22. Here she is, at 16 months old now and still weighs 18 pounds. Boy, she sure doesn't get that from me, lol. Would you believe I got up and weighed this morning and I have those digital W.W. scales and it said 211.9 and I about fainted. Took a shower and ate breakfast, and after lunch it said 213. I think I'll forget weighing after that. LOL.
  23. My band is just not that forgiving. I can be on the go all day long and it will not let me eat fast foods. I will get stuck no matter how small a bite and I don't care how much I chew. I have tried it and ended up puking on the side of the road. I'm not too tight either. If I'm eating foods I cook I have no problem. So, I'm use to it now and I'll get me a water and just do the best I can until I can get to some better food.
  24. I guess things are great with us here and just maybe not everywhere. Jobs are great and pay better than they ever have. Gas is sooooo affordable, when we were in Europe it made me appreciate our gas prices. You can go out and eat a good steak supper for less than 40.00 for 2 people. We have insurance, most have a nice home, food on the table, money in the bank, stock prices couldn't be better, nice cars to drive, and since we've stood up for ourselves and the terror level being used wisely, I feel very safe. Like I said before, I'm not trying to make any upset, it's just my humble opinion. Everyone has one, everyone can use theirs and everyone usually thinks they're right. Hey, I do have an opinion I'll think you guys will agree with me on. When you get a lapband installed and you get the perfect fill, (which I've finally got), these things are fabulous. I just can't get over how much better they do after an unfill, without too much fill they're fabulous. Off beat but just wanted you all to know I can agree with some things. Have a Merry Christmas everyone.
  25. She is 15 months old and runs circles around me. She is a little doll. Lots and lots and lots of energy. I've notice that all the picking her up is really not settling well with my lower back. I guess from my kidneys. She's finally learned to say Granny. It's soooooo sweet. My youngest son who is almost 20 is getting ready to get married July 7th and they want 4, oh lord. Did you get all of your cooking done? I fixed a bunch of Christmas goodies tonight and only eat one piece, I'm very proud of myself. Would you believe I got stuck today and it came up. It's a good thing I got that unfill. I've just got 1.6 cc's in a 4cc band. Man, it don't take much fill for me, that's for sure. lol.
