  1. I use my fitness pal as well. Also I use a Fitbit and pair the two apps.
  2. I lived on fair life milk, high protein yogurt YQ and Campbell chicken noodle (broth only) soup!
  3. Probably Ketosis. I had to for about 2 months following surgery. Good luck!
  4. Congrats on your surgery tomorrow!??‍♀️
  5. Try Gnc they let you sample little cups of their powder. I however never drank one protein drink after surgery because of intolerance of whey. I drank high protein milk and high protein yogurt.
  6. This was exactly my fear. Saying goodbye to my daughter before surgery was so heart wrenching. My health was so bad I thought I wouldn't survive. My Dr assured me and before I knew it I was in recovery. OP will do great And you won't regret it! Best wishes!
  7. I felt much better by the 2 week mark. I was in a lot of pain for a good week. I hope you feel better soon!
  8. The hardest is not being able to eat the quantities I used to, but it's a great trade off to be much smaller and healthier. No regrets!
  9. 45 seems amazing! With my 1 week pre-op diet I lost 43. I think you are doing great!
  10. I am 6.5 months post-op and have had a cramping nausea feeling in my stomach since surgery. I'm not sure what it is caused by and am considering doing an endoscopy to find out if something is wrong. Like you, it doesn't last too long. Maybe 15 seconds. It comes and goes and is unpleasant.
  11. I still get them. I'm not sure there is a rhyme or reason, because I get them even when I don't eat.
  12. I was given insulin in the hospital. at 6 months post-op I still have to take a bit of meds still. Hopefully it will get better with weightloss.
  13. I'm in pain management as well and I can still take my medication. I had to be on a higher dose for about 10 days after surgery to manage my pain levels after surgery.
  14. You may want to make sure you are taking iron. I was anemic when I menstruate. I have had a hysterectomy so I dont have to worry about that. Take care of yourself!
  15. Frou frou. I know the feeling. I only lost 4.5 in the month of August. Makes me feel like this the end of my weightloss. I started losing again. I have lost 4 pounds this week. Maybe because I started Metformin instead of Lantus? Hang in there, you have lost a lot of weight. Hoping your stall breaks soon!
  16. I have not thrown up once since surgery. I did vomit bile a few weeks after, but was gagging from brushing my teeth. I'm 6 months post-op and just ate chicken salad 15 minutes ago and I measured 1/2 cup and I feel like I'm dying ill. I need to go back to 1/3 cup. Meat, even tuna, I can't eat a lot of. It may get better for you in time, don't rule it out just yet.
  17. So pretty Ruby! Congrats!
  18. I had the vsg, but can tell you that my depression has lifted some. I still feel depressed at times, but weightloss has definitely helped. I wish you all the best!
  19. Congrats! You are looking great!!
  20. Good luck on your upcoming surgery!?
  21. When I young and thin I wore a 9. I was an 11 pre-op and now a 10. I'm hoping to get back to 9. So, yes you do lose weight in your feet.
  22. Refried beans with cheese and enchilada sauce.
  23. Yes! My RD suggested adding powdered milk to yogurt, cottage cheese etc. Great suggestion!
  24. I couldn't tolerate them either. It is the whey and would trigger my gag reflex. I literally ate night protein yogurt and high protein milk for 3-4 weeks. I recently tried muscle milk coffee latte and it has milk protein and is kinda tasty.
  25. I brought my I'd, my cpap and phone & charger. I wore the same clothes to and from home. You literally sip, walk and sleep. I didn't bring anything else.
