  1. You guys are giving me so great ideas! Thank you!!! I want to go get some coffee right now
  2. I can handle Skinny too Silver  Thanks for the advice. Sorry to tempt you Rutiglius!
  3. I am addicted. I'm great about getting it decaf and nonfat, but still hooked non-the-less. So what's my best bet if I get something? I am not a fan of straight up black coffee. Love all of the iced drinks. I know I'm not suppose to drink my calories, but this is definitely a weakness for me. Any thoughts? TIA!
  4. Had my next fill today! 6cc's in the band, so she added 1 more... now at 7cc. Hopefully this will be a little bit closer! They are going to stop doing a full cc pretty soon. I got a nurse that didn't do as good of a job, which kinda stunk. Also I had a low platelet lever, so hopefully everything is ok with that. I'm going to call my regular doctor to make sure everything is good.
  5. Ok, 253.8 today! It's official. And I have another fill tomorrow Bring on that 20lbs!
  6. BG, I like your new pic! Is that you? I like the bangs. I'm turning 30 in December and I'm starting to get some grey hair, so I'm going to get a new do and start highlighting it or highlighting. I'd love to see how you do your bangs! I currently don't have any, but want some sweepy side ones.
  7. I'm three months post op and have been having a pain on my left side. It feels just like after you exercise (walk/run really hard) and your side hurts. Does anyone know what this pain is? It just started this last week. If I lean to my right it makes it feel better. Weird, huh? TIA! Andrea
  8. Please add me! I am going for 20lbs. this time! I know I can do it. I'm at 253.4 lbs.
  9. 253.4 Can someone add me on there please? Not my goal, but down and not up! :tongue_smilie: We can do this!!!
  10. Me too! :thumbdown:The first time I discussed it with my doctor's office they said it was no big deal. I planning on talking with them again soon because it has continued. I get all of my Protein in too. Curious question... not even sure that it's related, but how much milk do you drink?
  11. I am on bp meds too. Maybe that's the problem!
  12. Not hungry is a much better way of putting it Jacqui! That's what I meant. I don't need the stuffed feeling... just don't want to have that hungry all the time feeling like I do. Take right now for instance. I just ate about an egg and a half (scrambled) with a little cheese and imitation crab meat about an hour ago. I'm already hungry... will the band ever help that go away where I feel hungry so quickly after eating?
  13. I was banded on April 7th and have had two fills. I'm now at 6.75 cc of a 10cc band and starting to have some problems with breads. Have you completely sworn off breads? Will I ever have that full feeling? I really don't feel full at all. liquids can seem to fill me up, but I'm following the rules and not drinking before, during, or after I eat. How many of you still feel full a lot, but just have problems with bread? That stuck feeling alone makes me want to stop eating. Any advice or experiences you have had would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Andrea
  14. I had it pretty bad for several weeks. It's still here, but not as bad. I talked to my doctor's office and they assured me it wasn't from my band. Did you lose quite a bit of weight on the pre-op surgery? I personally think the rapid weight loss for me was a huge part of it. Hope you feel better soon!
  15. Hey everybody! I had my second fill today, so I now have 6.25 cc's in my 10cc band. I was down three lbs since a month ago. Hoping with this fill or the next one in four weeks I'll start to see some restriction! Have a great weekend!
  16. Sorry it's been so long! I have been reading, but not posting. I am in the last two weeks of school, so super busy. My weight loss hasn't budged, but I am in a pair of jeans that I tried on a couple of weeks ago that were too snug Super excited about showing those off tomorrow! So I guess I have lost some inches. My next fill is June 19th!
  17. JayTee, that does suck! Mine isn't that strict either. I just hope I don't mess things up by eating some of those things. The only one I've really stuck to well has been no pop. I'll bet you'll lose a lot of weight though
  18. LisaMarie I am jealous of your 2 ccs! I just had my first fill tonight and only got 1cc. My band was filled with 4 and a quarter cc, so I'm not at a total of 5 1/4 cc. They will only do 1 cc at a time, but I can go again in 4 weeks. It was kind of a weird feeling. They said my dizziness is probably not related to the band. And the pain is probably just a muscle pull. She did feel a bit of swelling. I do have to say that getting a fill kind of feels like a new lease on life! I've been able to eat anything I want pretty much, so I'm glad to know that I have more restriction now. Here's to more weight loss!!!!
  19. I have the same pain. I had it a few weeks after surgery and it went away. Now I'm experiencing it 6 weeks post op. It happens when ever I bend over or twist certain ways. Bending over is super hard. I've been picking up my kids too and they are both little, but one weighs more then 24lbs.
  20. JayTee you're rocking the weight loss though!
  21. I am glad to hear that some of you aren't feeling any restriction either. I can pretty much eat anything as long as I chew it well. It kinda stinks! My first fill is next Tuesday and I hope it helps tame my hunger. I am hungry all the time!
  22. I'm experiencing this same thing. I have vertigo, but it normally goes away after a day or two. Just assumed it was my vertigo... now you've got me thinking. I haven't asked my doctor's office yet. Guess I should. Keep me posted on what you find out.
  23. Can someone please update me on here? I am currently 260.8. My band is not working at all! I can basically eat anything with minimal problems. I can't wait for my first fill! Right now losing 18 lbs. seems like a huge challenge!
