  1. Hi Terri, a slight unfill of .2 or .3 might be the trick for you. Solid protein is the most important so if you have problems getting that down then you are too tight. Good luck to you.
  2. I understand. Glad he is goind to be okay. I have a younger son that might join the military so someday I may understand more. Good luck.
  3. All you can do is support your son. It sounds like you are doing everything you can. I am glad he has a support network. Good luck.
  4. P.S. Make sure you are eating a lot of solid protein too.
  5. You need another fill. Once you have good restriction your hunger should be gone for hours.
  6. Thanks Sue. I saw before and after pictures that were quite different then my outcome so I'm not sure what the expect. You can definitely see the difference but my upper abdomen is still quite large. I don't want to get really depressed about it but it truly sucks. My pannus removal looks good though.
  7. I would go up maybe .3. That is a typical fill for my doctor.
  8. I would ignore your nutritionist on this one. Soups is packed with vitmans and not a lot of calories. The key is if it keeps you full go for it.
  9. Move back to liquids for 24 then mushies then solids. If the heartburn continues there are only 2 remedies. A slight unfill or medication. Good luck.
  10. 1/2 cup is a good amount of food. If you eat 1 cup of food and still lose that is okay too. 1/2 cup is usually with good restriction.
  11. Steph, when you lose fat on the abdomen it screws with the estrogen that is why you are having hot flashes. It took me about 1-2 weeks to finally have the scale show it. With my unfill and surgery I had gained 3 lbs when I went in for my fill. He also took 6 lbs off of my abdomen.
  12. Hi Boo Boo, I am pissed off too. I had a tummy tuck on 4/21 and already need a revision. He didn't take enough upper abdomen fat off. My pannus and lower abs look great but my upper abs look like s*. Without my girdle on I look about 6 months pregnant. My revision is going to cost me $3k. I do trust the surgeon but it just makes me feel fat still. Good luck to you.

I would consider a size 10 very slim for 5'8' tall. Its too bad the fashion industry only wants size 2.
  14. The best thing you can do is go to counseling and learn to forgive. Once that is done then your marriage will be stronger. It happened to me 2 years ago and our marriage has never been stronger. Good luck.
  15. Reflux is definitley a sign of being too tight. I would start with a slight unfill. Good luck finding a surgeon.
  16. This happened to me too. The doctor said that sometimes the stomach lining with thicken and give you more restriction. I would start with an unfill of .3 and go from there. Good luck.
  17. Sounds like you have some swelling. You did the right thing by sticking to liquids. I would move back to a soft diet and go from there.
  18. This happened to me too. My doctor said that sometimes the stomach lining thickens and it gives you more restriction. I would start with a slight unfill of .3 and go from there. Good luck.
  19. I am really glad you delayed your surgery. There was another horror story on here where the insurance company actually denied the claim and it was approved as well. I am glad you are following up. Good luck tomorrow.
  20. I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for posting this information.
  21. Congrats on your consult. I'll send my postive vibes your way to see if insurance will cover. Good luck.
  22. Hi Becky, my insurance didn't cover it either. I had to pay $11k out of pocket. I hope you can win an appeal. I definitely didn't lose 300 lbs. Way to go on the weight loss!
  23. I had my tummy tuck on 4/21. He couldn't get all the abdominal fat so I will need to go back in for additional lippo. He did a really good job on the pannus but I'm not exactly pleased on the upper stomach. I still want to lose 15 lbs. I should be able to go back in sometime in the Fall. Any advise?
  24. I met with my PS 20 lbs from goal. That being said I never aimed to the perfect BMI. I would have had to lose another 35 lbs. I am pleased with the outcome however I will need to go back in 6 months and have more abdominal fat removed because he couldn't get it all. So the closer to goal you are the better the outcome. Congrats on your weight loss to date.
  25. You have really been through a lot. God Bless. I had a thigh lift but mine was around the top of the thigh. Not as much pain.
