  1. Howdy!!! I was banded by Dr. Geiss at Syosset Hospital on the 11th....I couldn't begin to say enough good things about him & the other Dr.'s in his practice!!!
  2. I hope you feel better soon....will send healing vibes your way.
  3. That's great!!! You're an inspiration to me....
  4. He has NO RIGHT at all to say that!!! Is he that clueless that he has no regard to your feelings? Does he think that weight loss is going to be magically achieved by getting him something from the kitchen? The intent of what he said may be "OK", but I would have a problem with HOW he said it. This is none of my business, but why didn't HE get his own stuff from the kitchen????
  5. That's GREAT News!!! I have the Insurance Co apporval, got my date...my banding date is 5/11/09...I'm going to be going on the semi-liquid diet in less than a week....
  6. Hello! Both my Sister & I are going for LB surgery; I recently found out that I have a "slight" Hiatal Hernia...my sis found out about her Hernia a few years ago. From all that I know (which is limited...my surgery is coming up soon, hopefully in March) the Hernia is a concern, but it is also something that can be dealt with easily. It is quite common for people that are obese to have a Hernia, from what I'm told.
