  1. :clap2: Congrats on your banding, what a great birthday present. I was banded on Aug. 29 but have been on LBT for a few months, you'll love the support and advise!!! :faint:
  2. :help: I am five days post op and doing great, except it feels like I have gas stuck in my abdomen and can't get it to go up or down so that I can get rid of it. I have been walking, walking and walking, then walking some more. Any other suggestions??
  3. I was told that drinking thru a straw was a definent NO-NO that it was cause gas. Any ideas???
  4. I am 5 days out of surgery. Feeling pretty good, but just wanted to make sure I was do all I was suppose to. I have been sipping protein shakes, water, juice and hot tea. Haven't paid much attention to the portion size, just my stomach telling me when. I don't have much gas, but do get strong pains in my side from time to time. Has been raining for days so the only walking I'm doing is inside the house but still moving. Any suggestions or comments????
  5. Please don't anyone leave, I am 4 days banded and need all the help I can get. There's always a bad apple in the basket, don't spoil it for the rest of us!!!
  6. I'm feeling pretty good, very sore but good!!! I don't seem to have much gas and could almost have diaherra. Still taking anti-nausea and pain meds. I have only been sipping on water, grage juice and hot tea until today I had a protein shake and that was great!!:kiss2:
  7. My surgery is scheduled for TOMORROW, if you all could remember me and my surgeon in prayer I would really appreciate it. I know this is the right thing to do, but still a little nervous

  10. I'm not, just wondering. Do you have to go on all liquids before the surgery, I have read that some people go on all liquids up to 2 weeks before surgery.

  15. I was very impressed with Dr. Singh at my consultation, he has a great sense of humor!! I live in St. Mary's County so I doubt that I will make the meeting.
