  1. I miss losing ten pounds a month, too! I was on a plateau for almost six weeks :faint: when I first started working out and biking so much, and it sucked! The plateau is over now, thank goodness. And as long as my bod fat % is dropping, I don't grind my teeth over it too much. It does bug me to not be losing faster, though. I want to weigh 145 RIGHT NOW, damn it!

I like to track some stuff but when it has to be done every single day and all the time I get tired of it and I stop, that is why I don't track my food. I get tired of it. So, I don't know if the BB would be a good thing for me or not? I know what you are saying, D. I wonder if ZZ is like that and maybe she could be your "guinea pig"? She will see this and let us know. J is going be to mine...if it satisfies her "nerd-aciousness" it will surely satisfy mine! I track my weight and body fat percentage every day and log every bite I've put in my mouth since surgery and every move I've made....I'm a nerd, too. What can I say? I'm also a charter member to the Toy Of The Month Club , but waiting on this one to get more info.
  3. Come on, JM...you can do it! You seem like a strong chickie, mind and body! Don't hurt yourself, though. I'm sure you know your limits, and I'm sure you also know that it's good to push the envelope sometimes.
  4. Congrats on the new bike, HP! I'm so happy for you!
  5. How cool y'all met up for a ride! I'm jealous! B - Well, I hate to see ya go, but I'm glad you two are going to be where you want to be right now. I'm also glad the decision is that much closer to "done" for you. The rest will fall in your lap when it's time. In the meantime, you better get your house on the market. I have three that have been on the market since summer...one of them since June! There is about a ten-month backlog of homes for sale in DFW right now...terrible. I will hold down the fort here until you realize you can't live without "BIG D" any longer! J - OOO-OOO...gonna have to google me some Gantt! Nite, y'all...this chickie is wupped and sore from the gym! See ya tomorrow!
  6. I didn't understand that.
  7. I'm not familiar with the Gannt chart you speak of?!?!? What is it? Excel makes me drool, too...when I worked, it drove my staff crazy! It was the standing joke..."oh crap, she's got another spreadsheet!"
  8. So much posting since I left this morning! You guys and girls really DO camp out here all day! LOL I went to the gym today. Two hours, biceps and triceps. Learned a new thing...Bicep Relays. That is TRUE PAIN. Thank goodness you are only supposed to do them once every three weeks or so! Now I'm worried...I am so addicted to working out, and now I'm getting muscles....REAL muscles. And I want MORE! I swear it's like heroine! LOL It's my "drug"!
  9. BG - Thanks for the visual, BG! Look at all those tabs! And you can track your measurements, too. It's getting more and more tempting. ALL - Okay, I just caught up on the freakin' book y'all wrote since I left this morning! Scuba gear and muff diving? If the muff requires it, I can only ask why you would go there?!?!?! LOL
  10. Charts and graphs? J, you and are two peas in a pod there! You mean I won't have to create my own spreadsheets? Man...should I get one?
  11. OMG! YOU CAN EAT BISCUITS?!?!? If I even LOOK at one I will PB! And my daughter brought home Chicken Express tonight...their biscuits are the bomb! I can't have one...WAH! I would love to have just one bite!

Well, if you want my old one, PM me your address. It lime green LOL, but its a 1gig as well. It's really small, too. You can get a cheap set of earbuds at Walmart for $3.99. Oh, and I hate the Itunes thing, too. I use Limewire and download all my stuff for free!
  13. OH! And good news! I can move this morning! I guess my legs really CAN take the beating so much more than my upper body. My arms and chest are still so sore from Monday and Tuesday...and we are doing biceps and triceps today. I think I'm in trouble.
  14. Good for you, WHOS! You are rocking today! (Ooooo! Hot tub! Yummy!) Hey, I know what you mean about the MP3...it took me a while to get one...but I am so in love with my IPOD now! Here's one that might be good to get you started, though, and it's 1G under $30! Nextar 1GB MP3 Player at HSN.com
  15. J - Please DO kick my ass when I need it! You are obviously the woman for the job...dang, you can be scary! I love it! What is "SMO"? Oh boy...it's getting colder and I find myself asking myself, "To bike, or not to bike?" Not good. This is Texas, for pete's sake! It's not like I still live in Chicago or Kenosha or Richmond. The roads are clear, so why am I hesitating? The little wuss inside is starting to peek through...not good, ladies and gentleman. All that being said, I so love this board being ready to kick ass and take names! I'm in! In to win! I refuse to be part of that statistic, as well! (I'm working out very well, about two hours a day, six days a week...it's just the bike that is lagging today.) But I want to be a Banded WARRIOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, my kiddos are almost 16 and 19. My 16 will do parties, but not much trick or treating except to be an annoying older kid out for candy FAST! I always sit out front with my dogs and hand out candy, though. My neighborhood is CRAZY at Halloween! People from other areas actually come here to trick or treat, it's so nuts. It's a lot of fun!
  16. That was a great description...I know what you are talking about. OUCH, is right! GO YOU!
  17. What are bicycle crunches? Sounds intriguing! Wow...pushups. I can't do those yet. My upper body strength is so wimpy compared to my lower body, it's sad!
  18. BG - I just realized you are less than 50 pounds from goal! Woo-Hoo! Hey, I'm sure you will make that redial button your bitch and win tomorrow!
  19. A lot of folks get their gym time in in the morning. In fact, it is a widely held belief that there are training and weight loss advantages to working out before breakfast. I wish I were a morning person, but I definitely am NOT! Good luck and I will be rooting you on to pushing through the "I don't wanna go!" phase! It's a killer, I know!
  20. You like the sport bikes, huh? You like to go fast? LOL Around here it is nothing to see those guys doing 95 down the yellow line in between traffic...scares the crap out of me! Me, I'm a cruiser. My next bike (soon) is a Super Glide. Yes, I work out with a partner, so it takes longer. He worked my arse off today! Really pushed my limits. We will see if I can move at all in the morning...LOL
  21. Cool bike! I love bikes...still have my first mini-bike that I got when I was five! We have two now, LOVE to ride! Nice to meet another motorcycle friend! About my workouts...I know I'm addicted...can't help it! It's working and I want MORE! In all fairness, I'm with a partner so it's not solid workout time. He keeps me in line to rest between sets like I should. I work out one body part per day now, so I don't over do it. Don't let my stuff bother y'all, please! I am envious of you folks doing the C25K! I can't run to the stop sign! I want to...just not bad enough to actually DO IT! LOL
  22. BG, you rock! I love your bitchy sense of humor! Have a good day to all!
  23. I'm just catching up for the day's posts, and I'm still giggling from the mental picture of BG fighting into that suit! We've all been there, girl, and it's never pretty! Funny, though!
  24. WHOSYADADDY - I'm curious....my eyes are failing me and I can't tell what kind of bike you have in that picture?
  25. I just caught up from this morning...you folks have had a busy day! That spinning sounds fun, but I've never seen or done it. Yes, you saw right...43.96 miles on the bike this morning. (I'm training for the MS 150 in May, and 43 miles a day won't cut it for long!) It took me about four hours today because I was taking pictures along the trails at the park I ride in. There are always "critters" to be seen out there. This afternoon I went to the gym and lifted weights for two hours. I am so sore! I was learning new stuff today so I can change up my workouts and not stagnate again. It's getting to be a lot to remember, though...I feel like I need to take notes on all the moves and what muscles they affect! LOL
