  5. Oh that's wonderful. How are you feeling now?
  6. I'm scheduled tomorrow. I had to find a new doctor. I so grateful. I talked a lot about my issues with the band. Most doctors are familiar, and they know what to tell insurance providers. Well mines did. I'm truly blessed.
  7. I know you will do well. I will be with you tomorrow.
  8. Keep us posted. Praying for you.
  9. Thanks. Surprisingly, my band has been good. Now the there thing is I will be drinking this citrus magnesium in a few. What a great day to work!
  10. Congrats! I will be joining you tomorrow. I am not looking forward to the pain, but I know that comes with this transformation. I hope you are feeling way better at the time that you read this message.

  13. Well I went to my Dr after my band locked up on me. They had me talk to the surgeon on his team, but he did nothing. Then I was referred to another doctor who was "all about getting people right with the band." I was so done. I felt like I was just being used for them to get my copay. 6 months later I began looking for another doctor, but I ended up relocating. My new Dr was more than willing to give me the revision, but the problem was my still then (out of state) insurance said I had to be over 300 pounds. I was not willing to gain 20 pounds just for the surgery. Because I felt that if I did they would still have something to say. So 2 years later, finally got insurance to cover the surgery. Friday is my day. This is all a move of God. They told me the middle of last month, and I was able to pick my day. I knew that was God. I still have other things that I am worried about. Like this clear liquids day tomorrow, but I know all will be okay in the end. Just gotta get threw tomorrow.
  14. I don't feel normal either. It's so crazy.
  15. I use to have a lot of issues with my band, as we all possibly did. But one of the biggest issues is if I waited to long to eat I would have pains in the area where my band was. It would be so bad sometimes that I would have to take a pain pill. It would also happen at times when I wasn't hungry. So I have really had a hard time with not eating, because I first I feel like I'm becoming sick to my stomach, then the pains some. I wish I had thought to have them to remove all the fluid from the band last week at my Dr's visit. I am so scared about tomorrow. I honestly cheated during my pre-op, but it's a while nothing thing to eat before someone opens your stomach. I'm also a therapist, and I couldn't take the day off. So tomorrow is gonna be super busy. I have to find the time to drink broth or tea. Cause I know I will need something hot. Please keep me in your prayers yall. I have been thinking about this day for the last 2 weeks. So scared.
  16. So happy for. I join you Friday!
  17. Yeah me too. I'm also super nervous. I know that God is in control.
  18. Lol! That's funny. I have smelled a lot of good stuff too. I got 3 days, and I an truly excited!
  19. Yeah you should talk to tour doctor, cause I am not comfortable with the band it has not helped me at all.
  20. I have needed this firm Nealy 2 weeks ago. I have struggled the whole way. So sad. I am scheduled for Friday. I pray that all is well for me to have this even though I cheated nearly everyday (I know please keep me lifted). I am feeling really good today though. I had two shakes and my salad. I plan to have another shake and a protein bar. I know my nutritionist would be proud of all, well minus the dressing on my salad
  21. I am taking it now. I am wondering should I look for a chewable or something after surgery. The pill is small, but I am not trying to mess up my pouch
  22. I will be checking out this Toppik. Cause I have my Sleeve this Friday. I have already begun my biotin and I have some b12 with folic acid.
  23. Bernie, I am also here for you. I convert from Band to Sleeve on Friday, the 19th. I lost 60 pounds and only kept off 12. It's been a hard road, but I am so glad to be coming to the end. We will be on a new path together. Here's to the new us *clink, clink (with my crystal lite) - heehee!
