Failing at everything
I completely understand how overwhelming and frustrating this sounds! I went through something similar after my own surgery, and the dietary challenges can feel absolutely maddening. First, it's awesome that you're still killing it with weight loss despite all these complications. That's genuinely impressive, especially given how many obstacles you're facing. The food intolerances you're describing sound incredibly challenging - becoming sensitive to sugars, proteins, and experiencing such intense nausea must be so difficult. Have you spoken with a nutritionist who specializes in post-surgical dietary support? They might help you develop some alternative protein strategies that work with your specific intolerances. I know when I was struggling, finding specialized support made a huge difference. For the water intake, 40-48 oz isn't terrible, but I get why you're worried. Maybe try smaller, more frequent sips throughout the day instead of trying to drink larger amounts? And definitely keep checking in with your medical team about your hydration and nutrition. The mental aspect of food aversion is real and valid. It sounds like your body is going through significant adjustments, and it's okay to be patient with yourself. Some days will be harder than others, but you're clearly committed to your health journey. Hang in there - this challenging phase won't last forever. Keep communicating with your medical team and don't be afraid to ask for help or alternative solutions. You've got this!

That’s amazing news, congrats! Getting that call after all the waiting and hurdles must’ve felt so good. I’m still in the pre-op stage, so it’s super encouraging to see things moving forward for others. Hope your surgery date comes through quickly! Keep us posted!

Absolutely shattered ??
Totally get it! I’m pre-op but I’ve seen others hit that wall too after big losses. Looks like you're doing all the right things, hopefully it's just your body adjusting and it passes soon.

Nervousness Before Surgery
Totally normal to feel nervous, you're not alone. I’m pre-op too, and the closer it gets, the more my mind spirals sometimes. Talking it out here really helps. You’ve worked hard for this, trust the process.

How does taking Ozempic make you feel? Type 2 Diabetes
Considering ozempic… really struggling with weight gain, I have pcos, and dieting is not helping. Is ozempic any good?

I can totally relate to that! Still figuring out what flatters versus what covers everything up.

Who would’ve thought weight loss could shrink your feet too? Time for a well-deserved shoe shopping trip!

That's amazing progress, congrats! Crazy even the helmet doesn't fit now and with 8 months post op there's still time for more. Keep crushing it!

3yrs post of with 80lbs still to lose; need help.
That sounds tough especially when you're already doing all the right things. I'm still pre-op but hearing your story reminds me just how complex this journey really is. Sometimes the body just hits a wall no matter how clean we eat or how much we move. Hoping things shift soon for you and wishing you the best with IVF too.

what would be the best workout for me?
Yeah, they offer both, Ozempic and coaching. You can go with just the meds or add coaching if you want extra support.

what would be the best workout for me?
Hey, just saw your post. Losing 148 lbs is incredible. You had about 54 to go back in January… how’s everything been since then? I’m still pre-op, but I’ve been digging into workouts and weight loss tips lately. I came across this guide on the best exercises for weight loss, and thought it might be helpful if you’re still working out or looking to switch things up at the gym. Hope you’re feeling good about how far you’ve come, seriously inspiring!
