  1. I’m currently in a war between size 8 and 10, medium and large. Every manufacturing company for clothing is so different. I feel your frustration.
  2. I had sleeve to bypass revision due to weight regain and other reasons. Best decision ever. Recovery was more difficult with the bypass but I was back to work in 2 weeks. The results have been significant vs the sleeve and I am so glad I made the choice to have the revision

  5. Hello all my surgiversary December people, we are officially 6 months post op! what an amazing journey this has been for me. I am down 70#’s and still loosing. I am hoping to hit 150 and stabilize at 160. Eating around 900 cal daily, still struggling getting 80g protein and 64 water in. I feel like I always have something in my mouth! This past month my hair started falling out, I mean, AT THE ROOT…. It’s been a bit terrifying honestly but I know it will grow back. Luckily I had thick hair already, I just hope this ends soon. Working out, skin is sagging, and all that fun. I feel a million times healthier, energy level is great, sleep is good, etc Enough about me… How are you all?

  7. I ordered the cream of chicken soup and the protein shots. I had to throw them both away they tasted so horrible.

  9. How’s all my December buddies recovering? I am 4 days post op. I will say until today I was having bad buyers remorse. This procedure was way more painful than the sleeve I had a few years ago. The pain was excruciating but I feel I made a turn today. I have weened myself off of pain meds and started my vitamins today. Struggle is real getting liquids and protein down but this will get better. Gonna sail into the new year in my pajamas for sure!
  10. Surgery day is tomorrow. Gonna be a long day today of clear liquids. I have a slight dry cough so I am keeping my fingers crossed it doesn’t cause an issue. I will be sure to let the peeps know when I arrive tomorrow, hopefully I can get a cough suppressant for after or a belly binder. Like you @Waggy I planned this on my off time. I work at a school also and plan to return Jan. 6th. This is a revision for me from a sleeve to GB. I took 2 weeks off last time and it was perfect. Just got a bit tired during the day.
  11. Tried mixing a scoop of Isopure unflavored in my coffee this am and it clumped really bad. Anyone know of any tricks to get it to blend in soups or hot liquids?

  13. Thanks for sharing your story, im truly happy for you! I was reading a forum on reddit and someone was saying revision procedures hardly produce any weight loss. That doesn't seem to be the case on these forums though. Keeping my fingers crossed was second chance is the winner!

  20. I am pretty lucky- my surgeon does not require it. Just a liquids diet the day prior to surgery. He thinks its unnecessary. Maybe because he only does laproscopic?
  21. One more time started following December 2024
  22. Hi Michelle I am not on the exact date but very close to yours. Let me know if you want to chit chat! We getting close to D Day.
