  3. yes, I had the same experiance and it took about 3 wks to ease up, I have the sleeve, I hated the port

  6. I had my band out 4 months ago. I went into revision surgery last Monday, I was pushing for a bypass, but woke up w a sleeve, my doc said because of the scar tissue it made most sense to put in the sleeve. He said my drainage tube would have to stay in three weeks. So I will be out of work for about a month. But I have never had a vacation
  7. Hi, My sleeve surgery was on Monday, I went into it not knowing if I was getting the bypass or sleeve. I had a lapband that failed so there was a lot of scar tissue

  9. Sounds Great, I have been struggling with the Lap Band three and a half years, I did lose about 70 lbs from my highest weight, 300 down to 235, my doctors got all upset because I want a revision. I am going to be 55 yrs old any advice or experience you can share with me?
  10. Hi I think I am in the same boat you were. I work at a hospital and lunch time is short and breaks dont' exist. When I work on the psych ward I cant' eat at all because of stress. But today I ate really slow and I ate a whole piece of salmon, something I formally was getting stuck on. Then I would be hungery alittle while later

  12. Hi I was banded on 9/23/08 I managed to gain back a couple of pounds. I am just a little confused. I am supposed to be on soft foods and I dont have hardly any restriction. I see Dr F on Nov 6. I have trouble recording wierd mixed food and sometimes I work 14 hour days so I get totally lost:frown:
  13. Hi I was banded the day before you. I am fustrated in that I have actually gained back a couple of pounds since surgery. I cant' seem to figure out my diet and I have very little restriction. Am waiting for my 6 week post op visit then wait some more.:thumbup:
  14. Hi I was banded September 24 and lost about 11 pounds. My appetite is coming back though and I had better think about some exercise!!
  15. I was banded on Sept 23 and at first I had restriction untill a couple of days ago and now I too am hungry all the time. I guess its' a learning process. I have to start exercising again.
  16. Hi I was banded Sept 23 this year. So far so good. I just started blended foods and am alittle discombobulated so far. I havent gotten the hang of it yet.
