    Struggling to stop losing

You look great! I've been trying to find my maintenance sweetspot as well. I'm 10lbs below my goal at the moment. I don't necessary want to be thinner- I'm loving my new wardrobe- but my body is doing what it wants to do at the moment. Not worried... like many have mentioned a rebound may happen. Good luck.

    IT'S MY TURN !

Here's to a smooth surgery and recovery!! There are some soft food recipes on the Baritastic app (if you use it). Check with your nutritionist as well. My nutritionist gave me some recipes compiled by my bariatric program- I didn't use any. I must admit that I was not adventurous with food in the first few phases. I stuck to the basics - shakes, yogurt, soup, etc. During the pureed stages, I added tuna and other soft fish.
  7. Lol, you are right, the ones that fit always seem to be more expensive. I Tried on an old 32F yesterday, the cup fit good after getting all the "boob material" in- thanks ms.sss for the new reference, <3. A 30 will fit better. I want to wait til after PS to get new bras but I'm running out of options. My daughter sent me a link last night to an Amazon bra in the correct band and cup size that was around $30-35. The price is interesting. Quality? who knows.
  8. Bra sizing has been an irritating area for me. This is one of the main reasons PS (breast reduction) has been on my radar for a long time. Prior to becoming obese finding a bra in local stores was impossible because my ribcage size to cup size is not what makers/stores think is average. Stores rarely ever sold 30/32F. I had to settle for a larger band then alter the bra. Add in the weight gain and loss (empty breast are definitely real) I'm waiting to see where I end up. Definitely need a lift.
  9. I bought a few new pieces for work once I hit onderland, but for the most part I am still shopping from my closet. I am lucky my job allows us to wear jeans these days as I had many in various sizes that I couldn't bring myself to get rid of when I was obese. High school kids can be brutal so I don't wear anything that's too ill-fitting. If I lose any more weight I'll need to buy new clothes sooner rather than later. I'm looking forward to it.

    Cheese

Add me to the list of cheese lovers. I told my husband just yesterday that I should cut back on cheese (a little intolerance to lactose), an hour later I made a chaffle with gouda and herbs. It was so good. My defense- gouda is easier to digest. I only do full fat cheese, but I TRY to eat it sparingly.

  13. Unreal. Heart issues are scary, good thing you are young and with what you've been through -strong. Although not everything is explainable, the doctors would need to provide me some answers or at least a plausible theory and safe guards before the next surgery. I hope you are feeling better.

    When did you stop losing

I hope your weight loss is going well. My daughter is 28 and had to go through IVF for various reasons. I think if you stick to a plan you will continue to lose as long as you need to. Bariatric surgery, is one tool for weight loss. If you continue your hard work you can do it. Good luck,

    Anyone willing...

Lindsay, I knew PS was in my future when I decided to have WLS, lol. Thank you all for sharing these personal photos, they are so motivational to others. I recently hit the 100 lbs lost mark and I am already think about my next move. The deflated boobs and sagging arms are a lot- I do not hate it but I want to tighten up as soon as possible. I will give it a year but I want to start my search now. I would like to be around 135-140 when I have PS. I have about 25 lbs to go which I expect to hit around 8-9 months out. I've been sticking to my plan like glue and will continue to do so until I hit the one year mark- July 6, 2024! The lower body lift scares me so much, but it is a must. I've been combing the forum for any tips. I hate being in pain!!!! I will definitely post when going through PS.

  20. The jeans photo looks like art. I love the idea of using pop art with a story, some people may get it others may not, I love it. Congratulations to the OP and thanks for sharing.
  21. Christmas is so fun. I am so glad you are focusing on the positive. You will get where you want to be with that attitude and it is contagious. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Thank you all for sharing your photos, they are so beautiful and motivational. I normally hate the idea of sharing photos of myself online, but in the spirit of sharing and support here goes. The last photo was taken last night.... I'm 4.5 months post, 25lbs to go before goal (thinking about revising my goal.)
