  1. Hi, which type of cheese do you guys eat ? I try and stay within the low fat or non fat cheese but they get boring. Is a cheddar or a regular havarti ok?

  7. Havent though of that. Yes its strawberry flavored. I will try again more thinned out. Thanks!
  8. It always varies depending on your started weight, height and general health. Keep doing what your team tells you but seems to me you are on the good track ! :) i started my journey at 219lb, 207lb on surgery day and now 24days post op im 192lb. But i would recommend you buy a scale with other stats then weight. Mine tells me my body fat % and sometimes the number doesnt move but my fat % lowers.
  9. Im 24 days post op Gastric sleeve. I have been able to tolerate really well milk, cheese shredded, laughing cow cheese, cottage cheese… and somehow, greek yogurt is also making me throwing up. Any of you have similar experiences? I feel so confused

  12. Hi ! I am 8days post op VSG and i started to stall too. I do weight myself daily but more out of curiosity about the “early stall” i hear a lot. And looks like i started mine. However, you shiuld feel way less bloated and less pain to take that as a daily victory :)

  17. Have you been prescribed anti acid? It helps a whole lot to coat your stomach with a little protection layer . I take 1 in the morning and about an hour later i will take my regular medication and chewable vitamin. Hope you feel better soon!
  18. How are you coping with liquid diet? I am really struggling and all i think about is food.. which i didnt do before
  19. I have had my gastric sleeve surgery April 24th 2023. I am currently 6days post op. No pain, little sore. I am able to take in my 64oz of fluid (clear). And starting full liquid in 2 days, for two weeks. Im so hungry and would die for some puree. I walk as much as i can considering I dont have as much energy at the moment. Please how did you cope with the hunger while on the liquid diet? How long before puree food? Thanks for any response. I really appreciate it ??
  20. I am 5 days post op and lost 13pounds from Preop to surgery day, and an other 7pounds from surgery to now
  21. Good luck! Its a hard road ahead but very worth it
  22. Got my gastric sleeve surgery April 24th ?. Started at 220 and now at 203. Im in clear liquid phase post op and getting “hungry” . Still having pain and incision pretty sore
  23. My surgeon explained that the “hunger” feeling is actually your stomach being inflamed during the healing process. It triggers your brain to react like hunger hormone. It will pass :)
