I am 5'9 and I my weight is 256lbs. Besides being obese I have no other health probelms but I want to get the weight off before I do. I just have really bad luck .

I have my first appointment Monday at the clinic in Yspli. I was suppose to go in Augest and got scare so I chickened out. I have BCBS PPO and they do cover it but I am worried for some reason I will not quilfy for it.

Hi all I was suppose to go for my consultion in Augest and got scared and chickened out so I am going next week. I am going to Yspli. I am excited to start a new chapter in my life but I am really scared about having surgery. But today was the breaking point when I went to look for a Halloween costume and none fit me I want to cry.:eek:

I heard that to and eating protien helps too.

I have my 1st appointment next week to talk with the surgueon about having lap band. When do you get your done????

I have BCBS my best friend has the Medicaid and she too would like to get a lap band.

Did they say they would pay for it??? Because when I called Hurley for a friend they said only straight paid for it.

My BMI is 44 so maybe that is why. I just have really want this surgey I am ready for a change in my life.

I have my first appointment there Wednesday. And I have alot of questions to ask them.

Is your insurance threw your work mine is private I pay for it myself. So they are differnet plans because I called BCBS and they said read off the requirements and that one not on of them. So now I am really confused.

What kind of BCBS do you have and what are the requirements?? I have BCBS PPO. And did the Bartriax Center tell you 60 to 90 days for your surgery that is what they told me over the phone.

Well I am only going to my first appointment next week so I still have a while to go. But you need to look at this in a postive light with your surgery you are getting ready to start a new chapter in your book of life and how much your health will improve from having this. As for the dermo I hope everything wil go ok for you.:thumbup:

I called BCBS with the codes to make sure it was something they covered 1st. Can you tell me how much the surgery costs????
