Hello, My birthday is July 17th and I too want to be at or under 175 by my birthday! I am a 192 now (starting weight of 238, surgery on 10/16/08). I have been at a stand still for the last month! I need to have another fill (had two already) as soon as I can get the time off to go and get it!

I am scheduled for my first fill today at 4:00pm(yay!) Does anyone know what the rule is for before the fill? Should I fast? For how long? Thanks!

I am going through the same thing. I go for my first fill this Friday! I am not doing well with the portion control, it seems as if I am hungry all day long! Thanksgiving was especially hard. Although I did not eat as much as I usually do, the amount I ate was too much! I am hoping that after my fill Christmas dinner will be better!

Wow! I thought I was going crazy Saturday night! I had a banana during the day, (my first one) and that night I had severe pains on the left side under my ribs. I did not realize that it could have been the banana! I have not tried to eat another one again, and oddly enough, have not had the pain again. I would also like to hear from anyone else that this has happened to.

I was banded on Friday Oct 17th and was back working on Monday the 20th. No problems at all. I was a little more tired than usual but it was not that bad.

I am also having my surgery on the 17th! I will be flying out tomorrow morning (having it done in Mexico at OCC) I am also very excited and also very nervous at the same time.

Hello, I will be banded on October 17th and i live in North Port. (I am on the charlotte and sarasota county line).

Does anyone know if you have to have the annual plan at fillcenters usa or can you just pay as you go? I really do not want to have to put out over 1400.00 after self paying for my surgery. After hearing all the wonderful comments about The st pete fill center I have decided to go there for my first fill. Thanks!

My surgery date has been pushed back a week, so I will be having surgery on the 17th. I will post how everything goes ASAP. Everything I have heard has been very positive as well, I am really excited!

Do you know if he will take patients tht had th lapband out of country? If so, Do you know what he charges for a fill with flouro? Thanks!
