Hi everyone, I had my first fill today and got weighed i am 23lbs down which i am really pleased with. Looking at my notes i have 6.2cc in band so hopefully this will give me some restriction. To be honest i havent felt hungry at all in the past 10 weeks but i am very pleased with my weight loss. sweepyxx

Hi everyone just checking in. Its been 4 weeks since my band and i am doing ok. Weight loss is steady which i am happy about and getting my fill 22nd december. Hope everyone is doing ok. wendx

Hi guys, Well i got weighed today 2 days after surgery and its 3 weeks on monday since preop and i have only lost 10lb in total. I lost 8lb preop and 2lb after surgery. Must admit i am a bit disappointed. sweepyx

Good morning everyone, Well its 8 days since my band and i feel great this morning .Last night was my first night with unbroken sleep and i feel wide awake this morning .My stomach is going down and i feel ready to go lol. Off for a walk shortly. sweepyxx

My dr told me 8 weeks so i am having my done on 22nd december. sweepyxx

Glad you are feeling well nazzy. I am the same as you feeling alot better today although i think i am constipated lol. I keep takings meds as it can be uncomfortable sometimes. sweepyxx

Well i feel loads better today i was banded on saturday. Just got back from a short walk around the park and glad to be up and moving about. sweepyxx

I was exactly the same the week before i was nervous, excited thinking omg what have i done. The morning of surgery i was calm and relaxed i just thought bring it on lol. good luck today sweepyxx

Hiya everyone, I am from manchester uk and that is where i had my surgery on saturday. sweepyxx

Well i went on a 5 day pre-op diet. This is shakes and Soups that they provide. I did quite well done this and lost 8lb was hard going but its got to be done. Well now i feel abit sore but thats because i wasnt taking my pain killers so today i am making sure i am. food wise well its liquids for another 3 weeks, soups, shakes and fruit juice so i am quite happy with that. After that its 3 weeks pureed then normal food. They give u a diet list to help you along. sweepyxx

I must admit i think i over did it yesterday. I didnt take any painkillers and went for a walk. I had sat down in the evening then went to bed about 11. As i was walking up the stairs i had a pain in the right hand side and i thought i was going to faint. I went to the loo and was doing my deep breathing . Today i am having a duvet day everything in bedroom i need so staying here and relaxing. sweepyxx

I was on a 5 day preop diet so started last monday. So i started on the shakes then. I am on no meds now cos i just feel uncomfortable a little thats all nothing major.I spent the night as well just been for a little walk so i am not too bad at all. sweepyxx

I was banded at the alexander in cheadle yesterday Dianne actually recommended it to it. I am sooo impressed with everything the surgeons the care it was worth every penny. sweepyxx
