This is hard work.. I can't find anyone to do my Phsy eval....

If the eval was only $150 I would do it that way...But this doctor wants $704 to do it. OUCH!

Ok I just had my 1st consult witht he Dotors office..Got my information or my Physc Eval...But I called them and they do not take Tri care...They said I am the same as having no insurance to them and it would cost me $704 to have the eval done.....WOW... I don't have that kind of money. Its all I can do to come up with the $398 program fee for the Dotor as it is. Wonder will the doctor allow me to go to a Phych. that is covered by my insurance.

Did tri Care cover all of the appointments such as the sleep study and the Phsy eval as well?

Yes my husbad is retired.....But if there was a post near by then we could still get everything 100% free. But becase there is not one near we have to pay $12 co-pay or each docotor visit and $3 for each precrition.. Which is not bad at all compared to some insurance that i have seen.

It was a co-pay not a deductable... like $11 a day co-pay for the hospital... or something like that.

now just the long wait untill i go see the nurse at the surgoens office...I wish they were not as booked...dang it all anyway...

BUT Tricare prime we do not have decdutalble we just pay a very small co-pay and the rest is covered 100%. My huband was in the hosptial a while back and the bill was about $30,000 and all we had to pay was $80 of the bill.

I have TriCare Prime whats the difrence?

I went to see my pcm on Thursday the 21st of this month to get a refural for a consult or a surgeon. I got call and a letter from Tricare the following monday the 25th....Less that a week after the doctord visit......WOW that was fast. and i am so happy.... Is Tricare always that fast? I hope so... Now I just have to wait untill Oct to see the Nurse of the surgeon!!! Is it Oct yet? Check out my time line so far in my Sig....WOW...but now it all slows down....

I don't think that it is the insurance that takes so long...Its getting the doctors appointment.. They are so booked.. we only have 3 doctors total in my area that even do the lap band.

I hope mine is that easy as well

I am working with my insurance now..... I have TriCare I hope I am going the correct way!

What do they require you to do to get appoved? Special diets... other things...ect...please fill me in thanks!!!!!:confused2:

I am in the same boat as you... I got my PCM with TriCare to write me a referral for a Baritic team today as well. Next I go to the seminar....On the 26th of this month then go from there. Now I am just waiting for the paper work from TriCare for the Baritic team...Then hope i meet the rest of the reguirements...Good uck to us.... When is your seminar?

I have my 1st Doctors appt. tomorow and can not wait. But I am nervous at the same time. This is only to get a refural so that I can see a surgon. I hope I meet the requirements. I am 260 lbs and I am 5 foot 4 I have high cloertrol, foot problems, Asthma, mirgrains and insomnia. Not to mention back pain as well. Wish me luck please.:thumbup:
