  1. I was told the patches aren't as effective and to avoid them.
  2. This seems like a medical issue waiting to happen. I would think if food is just sitting in your gut for an extended period could lead to some problems and gas.
  3. Yes, you can be and probably are.
  4. I had a stall that lasted 2 months, I finally went with the one thing I avoided, carb loaded for 2 days then back to my strict diet. I also added a little more weight training. It did the trick. I broke the stall and got back on track.
  5. The mix that works for me is Procare Health - Bariatric Multi Vitamin w/ 45 Iron one a day - https://procarenow.com/products/once-daily-bariatric-multivitamin-with-45mg-of-iron-capsule?selling_plan=4946788588 Procare Health - Cal-Mag DK calcium https://procarenow.com/collections/calcium-supplements/products/cal-mag-dk-capsules?selling_plan=4716593388 Bariatric Fusion - B50 Complex - https://www.bariatricfusion.com/products/b50-complex?_pos=5&_sid=29c6f5f81&_ss=r And then I just use a B12 melting tablet. These were the easiest for me, I HATE the big chewable chalky vitamins.
  6. You are loosing a lot, I never heard that 50% of your weight is lost in 3 months, but I know the first 3 months are the fastest. Slow and steady is best, your body has to adjust. You will definitely lose if you stay on track, you just might have to adjust your expectation of how fast.
  7. I went at about 5 weeks, I made sure to carry water and sugar free Gatorade. I had no issues, but listen to your body.
  8. I never thought I would be here. But man, I am so happy i took the plunge! It was worth all pain, aggravation, and definitely the money. I can't wait for august when we all post our year update.
  9. I hit it and then some!!! and I haven't been this happy in a long time.
  10. I was stalled for a solid 2 months, I ate carbs for a weekend... then hit the gym hard and I am back on track. Its the worst when you feel like you are doing everything you can and you see no movement, but you will. Also, try doing band workouts from a chair, they are great and really work.
  11. I hate all of this for you. I hope today goes smoothly and you can start healing and getting back to life!
  12. If you eat after being full, and you know, have you thought about talking to a therapist the specializes in this kind of thing. A lot of people need a little help in that area.
  13. Yeah... we all experience this unfortunately. things I used to love are so gross to me now. It's a good and bad thing. But it will keep changing, so don't write stuff off, you might like it again in a month or so.
  14. Thank you! It's definitely been a journey. I can't wait to see were all of us are in August!
  15. Hi, of course! His name is Khallil Shillingford. the website is below. Pre-Op is mainly virtual, unless you have health risks... so that is super convenient. And I was always able to reach someone at the office mad the Doctor will give you a number to text him if needed. It was a great experience. https://www.drshillingford.com/contact-us.html
  16. I was getting so upset, I stalled at 97lbs down... this morning I past 100!
  17. the dreaded week 3 stall... it sucks, but it will pass. I think most of us hit that in the first month.
  18. I am not sure what they charge, but I am in south Florida, Broward county... I paid $11,000 for surgery and overnight in the hospital. Besides that I think I spent $300 on lab work before hand.
  19. My stall Finally Broke!!!! It was just over 2 months.
  20. I broke my stall and broke 100 Lbs! I'm so excited to be at this point!
  21. ? I am half way to my goal... I can't even imagine that this is it...
  22. I usually just get Iced espresso with a little cream. But if I want something sweet, I am loving the Toasted Vanilla Oat Milk shaken Espresso as a treat, I just get it with half the pumps of flavor to cut the sugar and carbs. and Extra shots and ice to make less room for milk. It's so good!
  23. No, I actually used to fast for 48 hours at a clip. I am going to do a 48 hour reset and see how that goes. I already use IF. It is a great tool, but I am just stuck.
  24. I just started adding a lower calorie protein to my coffee throughout the day, just to hit a higher amount... I'm hoping that works, next step would be a week of liquids.
