Preop lost 15 lbs, going into surgery in couple hrs the liquid diet was ok a lot more f mental no’s , still more work to go after surgery. ?

I have read about leaks apparently the one night stay is to have u drink test to check there are no leaks not sure what else have not seen it mentioned on this App

Glad to hear, I’m on day 2 of preop liquid diet, had stomach cramp in the morning and the runs drank grape Gatorade zero that really helped to hydrate -once runs stopped I was a bit weak, had smoothie with protein and that helped feeling a bit hungry after 5p and kept forgetting I can’t eat solids ??

Day 1-pre op liquid diet, had naked not sure if this is good option but have not found protein powder. I had planned to go to smoothie king but when I got there the are closed for remodeling ?bought naked smoothie blu monster and jello but it’s red and told not to eat red stuff. Felt a bit woozie after lunch and had beef broth and will go to bed as soon as I can Bc too much temptation for food plus feel exhausted now?will report on day 2 tomorrow-maybe some input on what y’all r doing for liquid diet , ty! ?

Yes, anything with vitamin will be good and protein dr said no muscle bldg protein though

Yes, same sleeve mandatory one nite stay. I’m scared of surgery. Includes umbilical hernia have low pain tolerance and a big coward ? I don’t mind staying one nite self pay included -I saw the surgery in video now afraid a staple will come loose etc. Has anyone used cbd for preop anxiety?ty

So what are you having throughout the day to keep to liquid diet? So far I’m thinking of smoothie king smoothies, homemade broth, juice and water. Oh can have jello.

Dr wanted me on liquid two weeks before, my dr is in Broward d county I live in miami, Fl nice to celebrate prior just had a margarita party with my girlfriends today to celebrate before the count down ??
