  1. I see two of ya say "only" well thats right were ya should be, you dont want to lose anymore then that a week, thats right on track :cursing:
  2. call your Doc and talk to him, and you need to know that you CANT eat what or how much you want you can cause all kinds of problems by doing so. I have been lucky and have a 10cc band and have not had a fill and have great restriction, for me its all about eating VERY slow and tiny bites shoot I many times dont even fell like eating my entire meal but do so knowing I need to. Good luck.
  3. wow thanks Lori!!! they sound great and were just what I was looking for.

  5. the title says it all, anyone have a recipe
  6. so So SOOO untrue, please do not lump us all in with a statement like that, I would run out and get a second job if my wife wanted/needed a TT or any kind of surgery that she thinks would make here look/feel better about herself. Good luck Tracy on your surgery.
  7. This does not add up, you were banded on the 2nd and lets say you stared solid food a few days early based on most people not getting to solid food for 3 weeks this means you got back on around the 21st. So you have been on solids for a weekish, and you say you have bumped up your working out, how many weeks have you been in the gym, you were just banded 27days ago? Im just trying to understand whats going on here, I would say dont stress, its been less then a month, the first 6 weeks are more for healing then losing weight. This is just how I see it.
  8. ColoradoCrazy I have an easy answer for ya just talk to your Doc and see what he or she says. I know what he or she will say, but it seems you need to hear it. Good luck.
  9. I have twice, one time great second time not so great. The first time with strangers second time with friends. Now the second time was good while it was going on but I have a feeling the two girls had issues later on related to that night. Oh and by the way I was single at the time. I do think doing this with your wife can be very risky and much much thought and talking needs to take place first. Good luck to ya!
  10. Hmm 3 weeks is a long time for you to still be bleeding, I would call my Doc if I were you. All my incision were glued shut and healed very fast. Good luck.

  15. Seems to me you are eating a lot of carbs, I would cut back if I were you. Oh and be very aware of what you put in your salads and stews. Good luck, you can do it!!!
  16. I would have to say your are not restricted if you can eat to much, get another fill and start moving at very least walk fast a few miles a day it will help big time!!!
  17. Silly Silly Silly, get your fill and if you get good restriction they you wont be hungry, and the tool will now be working for ya!!! And if no this fill then maybe next, dont worry you will get there.
  18. Thats just silly, get your butt back there and get a fill!!! without restriction the band is not a weightloss tool.

  21. Hello Martie, happy to hear they are going to fix it. Looks like the leason learned here is and Im not trying to rub salt in your wounds I just want others to understand that its NEVER to early to call our Docs, rememeber they work for us, we pay them so NEVER wait if you are having any problems. BETTER SAFE THEN SORRY!!!
  22. Wow thats a bummer if it did flip, I hope they are wrong. Now its my understanding that the port is stitched to the abdominal muscles you would think it would be tuff for it to flip.
  23. Oh forgot to ask, do you guys go back to liquid for a few days after a PB, Im thinking it might be a good idea.
