Thanks everyone the scale moved down again this morning..i feel ok.my first fill is on Tuesday i hope i can see the scale move faster..i am going to try my best not to weight everyday..its hard REALLY HARD.but thank you for the support.i live this sure really makes you feel good that there are others who understand

So i know they say not to weight your self everyday but i just cant help it. i six weeks out of surgery now and have started solids...basiclly everything just smaller portions. i have even started excercising. so the scale has always givin me a drop or stayed the same. but today i get on the scale and the scale says i put two pounds on...WTH. im so bummed. then to add to my day someone asked me if i was pregnant...R U SERIOUS...its been down hill all day. please tell me someone that this is just a fluke and i will start to lose again. surgery june 29th...270lb now.........................250lb..20lbs down
  3. I had surgery on June 29th.day of surgery 270 I'm now down to 247...23lbs down. I have thyroid disease and have not had my meds changed yet.I'm on 250mcg. Hoping one day to not have meds at all but i guess we will see
  4. mine is right under my left boob..not really even noticeable.the only thing that had bothered me is my under wire bras After a long time sitting because the wire pushes into the port
  5. i still can't sleep on my stomach and its been a month since i was banded..very sore..like a bruise to push on the port area
  6. i started taking biotin..its a vitamin you can find in Walmart helps with hair and nails..very small pill ready to take
  7. surgery was done on June 29th everything went awesome feel great.down 20lb. scars are fading fast and the anti nausea worked wonders
  8. talking to my surgeon yesturday he told me they're is no reason to stop trying to conceive...so the only thing he has said is don't get pregnant this month because i'm having my band surgery on the 29 th..woohoo...other then that he told me to go for it..but i have also been trying for 7 years.
  9. Finally..got my surgery date. Thought i was waiting forever but listening to everyone else guess it really wasn't that long. saw the surgeon for the first time on may 31st and now heard from them today that my insurance has come back with an approval and i sceduled for surgery on June 29th...Im sooo excited cant wait to get the show on the road. I have a per op appointment on the 15th and a upper GI test on the 22nd then surgery on the 29th.Going to be a busy month.
  10. went and saw the surgeon today for my first pre opt appointment and while talking was told that when getting the lap band there is no reason to stop ttc...so i'm super excited and am going to keep trying..thanks everyone
  11. woohoo..finally after 6 months of classes got my appointment to meet with the surgeon may 31st.can't come soon enough.i want to get on with my new life asap....can't wait

I haven't been banded yet but there's one thing I can't get out of my head...nothing tastes as good as skinny feels...I can't wait to be down to a feeling of thin..I don't care what I have to go through to get it...I want to be healthy and have more energy and feel good standing next to my skinny hubby...lol..good luck everyone..can't wait till its my chance

I know this sounds awful for the people who have fear...but i'm not afraid at all..I can't wait for surgery.I want to get this show on the road.i'm so excited to start my new life..the only think I worry about in nausea after the operation.Because anesthesia make me suck.but i'm sure they have anti nausea meds I can take before surgery....can't wait for my new beginning
  15. Ok so I haven't had surgery yet but i'm very worried about extra arm skin...I don't want to have skin removal surgery...so what can I do after my wls to avoid haveing plastic surgery? I already exercise with weight training and cardio...is there anything extra I can do for my arms? Don't want to have wings....lol
  16. I'm, 275... My husband is 130..... So there is a difference. I hope too one day actually have my husband carry me over the thresh hold..thats our goal together lol for him to lift me one day..I can't wait
  17. I'm worried my husband will be the same way...I get looks now...so i'm defiantly worried he is going to be very jelous . I guess we will see when I get banded. I'm build the same way..large chested..I don't think that is going to go away so.when I loss weight this is going too be interested

I have been trying to conceive for 6 years...i'm also in the process of getting surgery..and my intent for the surgery is to loss weight so I can hopefully conceive..do I know where your coming from...its hard to only want one thing in your life.and every turn is a let down..hang in there hunny and let use all know when it happens..everyone will be happy for you..and out will give me more hope on my situation
