179.5 last week, 177.4 this week = 2.1 loss for me. I'll take it. I seem to be right on track all of a sudden for meeting or exceeding my July 4th and Bandiversery goals. Woo-Hoo!!:blushing:

Forgot to log this one here...only did the weekly one last week... Better late than never. Missed my goal by just 1 pound - I'm not readjusting anything for the long term though, I think it's all doable!

Friday Morning Weigh-in May 29th
Last week I forgot to weigh at home and made the assumption from the doctors scale that I was even (183# -no loss/no gain). So...today when I stepped on the scale and saw 179.5, I was excited and bewildered, trying to remember what I did this week that caused a 3.5# loss. Can't think of anything that stands out, but I sure am happy!

Friday Morning Weigh In May 22
I, in my hurry to get out the door Friday AM to see my primary care physician, forgot to do the "in-the-buff" weigh in I usually do, so...when I got to the Doc's office I weighed there, fully clothed (sans shoes). I was up a pound from last week, but attribute that to the shorts and t-shirt I was wearing, so I'm calling it even - no loss, no gain. On the BIG plus side I am now medication free from the blood pressure medicine I've been on for the last 6 years! Ta Dah!

Help!!
Your weight loss seems to be right on target, we are all going to lose at slightly varying rates, but you are in the right neighborhood. I have some friends who are vegetarian/vegan and find enough protien at the health food store to make it work for them, if your concerned your not hitting the protien goal or that your carb content is too high talk to someone at the health food store I'm sure they can point you in a good direction. Lastly, if you have been able to do this without getting a fill since November - YOU ARE DOING SPECTACULAR! It's unfortunate that you don't have a good relationship with your doctor, but it is also important that you continue getting fills until you find your sweet spot and then continuing to meet with your physician even after that as the Fluid in the band can sometimes slowly leak out over long periods of time, requiring a lifetime of care and fills from time to time. If your doctor isn't working for you perhaps you can find someone else who can do your followup care.

Post your NSVs
Congrat's on the dress shopping. I remember the day I first bought a 16 (which I hadn't been in since high school, more than 20 years ago). I was also attending a special event. 3 months later my husband and I were invited to a wedding so I wore the same dress - I was literally swimming in it. Now I'm a size 12 and I think the last time I was wearing this size may have been 7th or 8th grade. It's spectacular!!! For the first time in our relationship (which started in high school) I am also weighing less than my husband. It's a daily game for us now, but a good motivator for him to lose the 15 pounds he needs to drop. I finally have a weight loss buddy in my own house! It's pretty cool! Last week I went to the doctor's office and I've gained an inch and a half in height (has this happened to anyone else). I'm 40 years old, I know it's not growth, I'm wondering if I've just lost enough weight that im not as "compressed" as I used to be...thought it was weird, but it really changed my BMI and goal weight significantly.

Friday Morning Weigh-In May 15, 2009
Forgot to weigh myself Friday - but I did it first thing Saturday AM - 183.5, down 1.5 pounds from last week. Makes me a happy camper! I don't understand the overnight "Big Losses" either, I wonder if it's because I've drunk enough Water the day prior and flushed myself out well. I know that is one of my bigger weaknesses (not drinking enough water), but when I do it "right" I seem to drop big numbers within a few days?? Just a thought.

Had a great week, down 2#'s the most I've had in a single week in a long time! Yeah! NSV - For the first time in 25 years of being together, I weigh less than my husband! (OK, so it is only a 1/2 pound, but it is less.)

Anniversary Challenge
I'm ready to join this challenge. My bandiversery is August 29th and I will like to have hit the 100# lost mark (since banding) by then...so that means... 5# by Memorial Day 9# more by July 4th and 15# more by August 29th That will put me at 158 and only 14# from goal. I think it's attainable mainly because my banding date is so late in August that it gives me some additional time on the last leg. I get 63 days from July 4th - August 29th. I guess I better start cracking the whip on myself if I'm going to make it! Thanks for the support!

Friday Morning Weigh-In, May 1, 2009
Ladies, Although I haven't been seeking support here since before and right after surgery, I'm now finding that I need to he held accountable to someone - so here goes.... Last Friday I was 187. I'll start logging in weekly to report. My overall weight loss is at 80+ pounds, but has really begun to slow, so perhaps having to broadcast it each week will be a good thing for me. I'm happy where I am now, a size 12 and no longer obese, just overweight, but I still don't particularly feel "healthy." I do have way more energy than ever before and hope that meeting with all of you weekly will help me to lose the weight and gain my health.
