  1. 1 day liquid diet... My goodness... How lucky lmao. Feel better. But yea Take some Zicam or coldeez or what Shoppgirl said.
  2. Nice. your profile says you had the sleeve in April of 2015. Did you get a revision or is that just a error?
  3. I am in Jacksonville but i just had surgery lol. Cant work out yet. hoping to try to ride my bicycle soon over in either fleming island or at the Baldwin Bike Trail off of I-295.
  4. Never heard of it. I havent been to a bed bath and beyond in like 20 years and there is one about 2 miles away. May need to stop in and check it out. Thanks
  5. not the biggest fan of it. So before surgery i loved powerade zero and Propel water. After now its gross. lol Need to test out different powders like crystal light and see what i like.
  6. well shiz... lmao. Ive been drinking 2-3 a day. back to boring water i go lmao thanks for the heads up
  7. I am a person who prefers to hear the blunt truth and in real life i tell people the blunt truth. On here on this forum... Not so much. There are tons of post where i want to actually speak my mind which would probably hurt peoples feelings... But not all of us are like that. Me personally hurting my feelings or offending me is nearly impossible. But for others... literally takes nothing to get offended or hurt. So i choose not to be that way to not get people upset at me here lol.
  8. I found that gatorade zero helps a ton with hitting my fluid goals. Just water is ok but harder for me to drink the full amount.
  9. I am exactly the same. If i am just sitting and watching a movie i feel like going to the kitchen and grabbing some snacks. But i am not actually hungry lol.
  10. I really havent been "hungry" since surgery a little over 3 weeks ago. I have to remind myself to eat.
  11. So i bought the premier protein coffee latte one. OMG... So effing delicious LMAO. I've been missing out. Thanks for that suggestion lol
  12. You should have been given a plan but i had surgery 2 days before you and i eat roughly that. typically 3 small meals a day and i drink a little less water than you.
  13. you are at your 3rd week stall.. I am in a stall too. I have not lost any weight now for a week now. as for nauseous could be because you are not getting in enough fluids and protein. Is your pee very yellow? that is a sign of dehydration. If it gets worse it may be best to call your surgeon or go to the ER or urgent care to get fluids via IV.
  14. All surgeons are different. Mine specifically says Cardio yes. But not to do anything heavy yet until i am able to consume minimum of 800 calories. and no weight lifting of any kind for a couple months. I am 3 weeks out and still hurting a little so i cant do much. I have a bicycle i want to go riding but i am waiting a bit
  15. Thats a little odd. I am also 3 weeks and 2 days post op and i have been eating soft foods now for over a week without issue. Most of my day is mornings 2 quail eggs, turkey sausage and cheese, Lunch a protein shake and dinner typically the same as breakfast without any issue at all. It does take me about an hour to finish a meal tho. I take small bites, chew very well and wait a bit before taking another bite. as for the noises. I get tons of noises when i eat. It stops once i finish. and i get a little pain at the top of my stomach but thats after each bite. As for water i drink a 28oz gatorade in 1 hour without issue. Could be you are taking a little longer to heal. what about your vitamins? are you taking any? That is where i get nauses and feel like throwing up
  16. everytime i eat my stomach starts gurgling and i burb sometimes lol. as for going number 2. I am still at maybe once a day if that.
  17. Perfect. My insurance would not cover it. that sucked lol. Good luck with all the requirements from your insurance and your pre op testing. Once you get that all done you will get a surgery date pretty quickly
  18. Welcome to the group. Lots of great info on this site. I had gastric sleeve 3 weeks ago. Its been a interesting journey. hopefully your next step is getting started with your pre op testing. Is insurance covering it or are you self pay?
  19. Never even heard of it. I had to google it. So basically its just suturing your pouch even smaller thru your mouth. I didnt even know there was a revision after bypass. Pretty interesting.
  20. All surgeons are different with their pre op plans. This was mine. (HMR Is a brand that my bariatric center provides, They sucked. I used premier protein and fairlife)
  21. Its the same with me. I had no issues with liquids tho it is easier for me to get in all my liquids if its gatorade instead of water.
  22. Yes correct. The reasoning my surgeon prescribed it because he said its common for people to get gall stones during rapid weight loss so basically its a preventative thing.
  23. Hi. One question. Your profile says you had sleeve on September of last year? Did they not prescribe you medication for gall stones after? I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and they put me on this medication called ursodiol which dissolves gall stones. I will be on this medication for 6 months to 1 year.
