  1. I hear you. It all feels so overwhelming! I still can’t figure out when I am full and I haven’t shed the amount of pounds that I expected. I am starting to think that is much more person specific than they say. Maybe not gerri g on the scale everyday would help? I heard that no one regrets it so, I am hanging on to that for now.
  2. I was so glad to read this. I am 3 weeks out and have only lost 3 pounds. I am never really hungry, but eat because I know I have to. I have trouble fitting in all the food and shakes I need with waiting for the H2O intake before and after. I am ALWAYS thirsty and would prefer to just bring water all day if I had a choice. I am walking 3-4 x/day. I am not dehydrated but, continued shakes and soups have lost appeal. Maybe now that I can start on pureed foods I will be more motivated. I hope that I can start to loose more weight soon. Getting a bit discouraged.
  3. Hi there! I am feeling a little disappointed because I am 3 weeks after surgery and have only lost 3 pounds. I feel like I am doing everything right, walking 3-4 x/day and eating less than1000 calories. Disappointed. Has anyone else had slow weight loss in the first month?
  4. Poison tea consists of whatever daily medications I have to take For me it is 2-3 am and pm for depression, thyroid, plus the Previcid from the doctor. I dissolve them in hot water, add tea and sweetener, and sip until I want to puke. That is my morning meal. Delicious!
  5. Just had my gastric bypass on 11/22. It is fine physically generally but, is messing with my mind a bit more than I was expecting. Crushing pills and drinking”poison tea” twice a day is so disgusting and nauseated! That is possible the worst part.
