How can you be sure that is not a blood clot? That sounds like a lot of the warning signs. I work for a family practice doctor and you would be sent to the hospital asap for a venous doppler us. You should get in asap. Not trying to scare you, but be very careful. If it is not a clot it could be an infection. Keep us posted. Take care of you.

I'm in the last stages of approval. I have my psych eval next week, then we are good to go. I am hoping of the week of August 11th. I'm a mother to 2 little girls and one big hubby. I am hoping this all goes well. Nice to know there is a group for us now. Kelli

I'm so glad i'm not alone in this. I've heard the "your not that overweight" comment so many times. Hello I'm 255lbs, how can you not see i'm overweight. My hubby is overweight too, he is struggling with me doing this without him. He thinks I will leave him. NO WAY! I married for life! Good luck to you. We will get through this together.

It does go quickly. I had a one day class too, now I am getting my pschych eval next week. I was told that after that I would be scheduled for surgery in 2-4 weeks, so here's looking at August. I have been overweight all my life, I am so ready to do this. God bless you and your journey. Keep us all posted.

Hello all- I'm new here. I am still going through the approval process. I am awaiting my pscych eval and then I will be scheduled in August. I am excited and nervous. I have been overweight all my life. First diet at age 13. I am now 31 years old, a mother of 2 and hanging out around 255lbs.
