I had gastric sleeve surgery on Nov. 23rd with a hiatal hernia repair as well. The use of gas x and peppermint tea was very helpful to me. Walking helps as well. I hope you feel better with each passing day.

Post-Op Hi Everyone I am 1 week and 2 days post op for the gastric sleeve. The first day after surgery was a miserable experience.(Gas) The use of Gas x and peppermint tea was very helpful with the gas pains and stomach discomfort. I haven't had any issues with swallowing pills. Each day get's better and I am able to keep down all liquids. The incision on my upper left side is still a little painful and tender. Overall, I am doing great and have lost 15.6lbs so far. We Got This!

Hello Everyone, I am having the gastric sleeve done at 10:30 tomorrow morning. This forum has been a big help as to what to expect after surgery. I am claiming a safe and successful surgery with minimal to no pain and the ability to get liquids down without a problem. Best Wishes to each and everyone of us.

Update to previous post; I received a call that I didn't have to do a pre-op diet. So, I modified my eating habit to prepare me after my surgery.

I started pre-op diet on Monday and then received a call that I didn't need to do the liver shrinking diet. So, I modified my eating habit to prepare me for after my surgery.

Hi Everyone Started the pre-op diet today and I must say things are going great. My gastric sleeve surgery date is November 23rd. I am excited and ready to get it done.
