  4. I'm 6 months out and down 85 lbs I can't believe it. I've told everyone I know about this protein powder. Unjury protein. In my opinion it's the best. They sent me home from the hospital with it. Mix with 8oz of milk. I drink one every morning sometimes if I'm not very hungry I will have one for supper. I love the vanilla and chocolate splendor.
  5. I've had gout for years. I take Tart cherry extract every day works like a charm .
  6. I totally agree it's not enough. I wouldn't have enough energy to work at 300 a day. My doctor says 700 -800 first 6 months . I'm also heavy protein and very low fat and carbohydrates on that 700 - 800 calories. Not saying it will work for you but its working awesome for me so I'm sticking with it. I'm 2 1/2 months post op and down 50lbs .
  7. I'm 2 1/2 months post op 700-800 calories a day. That is where my doctor told me to be .
  8. Absolutely NO regrets!! Had my surgery June 7th down 50 lbs . Pretty unbelievable for me . 2 1/2 month's down 50lbs no way I could of did it by myself. I'm off my blood pressure medication, I've cut my diabetes medication by 75% . I'm back to normal energy wise , eating 700 - 800 calories a day , I'm losing on an average of 3lbs a week right now. To this point it's the best decision of my life .
  9. Wow holy crap !! I thought I was doing good at 50lbs in 2 1/2 months but you look amazing!!
  10. I felt bloated. I didn't have any set times. The first 5 days it would take me all day to get my water down and protein shakes down. It gets better every day. I'm 7 weeks post op and now I can pretty much drink as much as I want.
  11. Try the Unjury protein with 1% milk .
  12. I buy used work jeans on ebay . I have been buying just a couple at a time . Like you my old clothes are just hanging off me .
  13. For me absolutely wort it ! I just had my 6 week post op exam and I'm happy. I'm down 40lbs , my BMI is under 40 . I'm off my blood pressure medication and half of my diabetes medication. Can't wait to see what the next 6 weeks brings. For me there was no pain. I never took one pain pill. Worse part for me was the first week trying to get fluids down and the gas ! But as of right now it's the best decision I've probably ever made in my life.
  14. Not much help with the soup but I love the Unjury protein powder with milk. I found milk easy to drink the first couple weeks . I didn't really want any soup for a week and half but did the protein powder and beef broth. Just remember protein protein protein.
  15. Oh screw him lol. You have lost 21 lbs that's good. Everyone is different. To me it's a marathon not a sprint . You doing great. Just stick to your meal plan it will work. I'm 6 weeks and have lost 36 lbs. Everyone looses different. I lost 5 lbs one week and 3 lbs another and so on. I just keep telling myself that I'm eating 700 calories a day compared to 2500 or 3000 calories a day before the surgery.
  16. I'm 6 weeks post op. When they sent me home they told me I wouldn't need metformin. Well after the first week my sugar would not go down. Got back on it sugar went down.
