So, I just wondering how many oz of water are you able to get in within an hour? I am currently 12 days post op and can get 4 oz in 1 hr. I'm still trying to figure out where to get my protein in. Hello everyone, I had my gastric sleeve 4/8 stayed in the hospital until 4/13. I couldn't keep anything down. No pain just at all. I'm home now and feel like I've made the worst mistake of my life. I can get some sips of water down but, not alot. Today, I was finally was able to get my pills down for the first time and had 2x spoons of broth (the 1st food I've had since). I am so thirty but, I can only sip tiny amounts or else it all comes up. I knew going into this, that it wasn't going to be easy and the portions would be severely restricted. I just feel this is way more than I thought. I am so thirty all the time. I don't know how I'm going to get through this, it is completely overwhelming. I'm sure I sound like a giant baby but, is anyone else having or have had a similar experience? Has anyone else had only coughing at bedtime and which results in then coughing up everything? I finally got to the point were I am keeping everything down during the day but, once I lay down at night it seems to come back up?! What do I do?! Please help! Good!! Im glad you were able to move around! How often are you sipping? They were telling me every 15 mins but,, there is no way!! My incision pain is minimal its just the dang vomiting...I hate it 😂😂 but, hopefully ill bust out this joint soon!!

I know it has to be hard especially when you're preparing good for you family. Hang it there your surgery will be here before you know it! I heard the premier clear protein water is good, might be worth a try? We don't have much time left!! I can't believe in 16 days we will be getting our surgeries done! We are almost there you got this!!

I was thinking about starting mine early also. I am suppose to start my pre op diet on the 2nd but, I might end up starting it at the beginning of that week. Have either of ya'll scheduled your pre op appointment with the hospital? I'm waiting on them to call me but, is making me super nervous!
