  17. Well first. Congrats in your date! My number one advice is definitely walk after surgery! The gas pain you feel, in your upper chest, arms, etc, is super uncomfortable. And the best way to get rid of it is walking little by little.
  18. I literally just got on the site because I was going to ask this same thing. But first I was like let me scroll some posts I may find an answer. I had my sleeve on 10/29/2020. I just started regular foods. I haven't over ate, haven't had any sugar, I've been trying to keep my sugar at like 1 gram if any. And the little tiny bit I just started eating I make sure its healthy. My weigh days are Tuesdays, I cheated and weighed Friday too. Was down to 301. I weighed today after my bath, and am at 303. [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15]. I'm hoping it's what was stated above. Water retention or something. It got me feeling a little down I won't lie tho.
  19. So I am now in the puree stage. Around how many ounces does everyone else eat? I haven't been measuring, ill usually take a few bites off my baby spoon, until I kinda feel some "heartburn". I want to start measuring stuff tho, so I make sure I am doing this right. Thanks
  20. Congrats on your new journey! My advice, just stay strong lol. The liquid diets are not the easiest, but you got this !
  21. I have not, but congrats on your surgery date!
  22. I had my VSG done on 10/29. The first few days were bad with the gas, and me wondering if I made a huge mistake. I got my drain out yesterday and have felt so much better. During my first couple of days of feeling like I made a horrible decision. I Google and found this site, and am so happy I have.

  26. Thank you. I def realize this is going to be a big adjustment. I ate some soup for dinner, and felt just fine. I think going back to work, I'm use to snacking, and going out to eat with my coworker so I was just in my head most likely. Ty for your response
  27. I'm on the full liquids stage. But today I feel like it's just absolutely not cutting it ! Hopefully this will pass for both of us soon!
  28. I am 5 days post op. I got my drain out today. And literally ever since I have been feeling soooooooo hungry. Omg. I tried "eating" a little more of my broth, didn't help. Tried doing a protein shake, hasn't helped. And I'm feeling hangry and just want to eat [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15]. Has anyone else had this problem.? Please tell me it goes away. I've been doing good not really feeling hunger, but today is horrible !!! [emoji24][emoji24]
  29. I have the same thing. I haven't had any bad flare ups, but I also just had surgery last week. Try getting a rag and get it as hot as possible, and let it sit on the bump. You may have to go get it lanced. Sorry you are going through that I know they suck !
  30. Congratulations! You look great !
  31. Are you able to drink a little more than just the little sips as some time passes?
  32. Maybe you're taking too big of a drink? Try taking an even smaller sip and see if that helps any for you
