Hi, tattoo artist with a sleeve here. So if you'd like to avoid any and all warping, I'd recommend waiting until AFTER you get your skin removal surgery. As with skin removal surgery they cut out shapes and then pull the edges together to contour and reshape your body, if any tattoo is near the areas, it is likely going to get distorted. This is why I have personally halted getting a back suit, my stomach tattooed, anymore thigh tattoos, and anymore arm tattoos. I already have an underboob piece that is already distorted just from losing weight, and I know once I get skin removal done, it's going to be lower than where it was and it might become misshapen.
