  2. This is such good news!! my surgeons nurse told me since i'm already approved that weight gain isn't an issue for them. I was stressing over this 6 lb gain since corona-tine. When do you start your pre-op liver shrink diet? I have my pre-op appt on 6/30. It is very nerve wrecking for me at this point. They also did a switcharoo of surgeons on me too. not that I mind but I haven't met this surgeon yet..SO lots of nerves here too
  3. I've been trying to get to 2 shakes a day for a few weeks and just a dinner meal. its a task for sure. but i have to do it for real in a couple weeks anyway. Luckily, I don't have to do all liquids on mine.

  5. what do you mean went right through you? Like you felt hungry still? or dumping?
  6. Ok, that makes more sense. My friend had a revision from lapband to sleeve and says she can eat way more than when she had her lapband. she was having issues with food getting stuck all the time. Definitely seeing how everyone is so so different.
  7. YESS! we will be on the struggle bus of the pre-op diet together :D
  8. Hey everyone! I am new to this forum. I am scheduled for bypass on 7/14. I have my pre-op appt on 6/30, that’s when I’ll be starting my surgeons pre-op diet. My surgeon doesn’t require all liquids for the pre-op. Thank you sweet baby Jesus. I hope everyone has a great surgery and quick recovery!
  9. I thought bypass would be more restrictive. It’s less space for food to fit in. Could someone explain? I have to have bypass due to reflux already
