Hi! I had VSG on 06/22. Surgery went great, not much pain was up and walking as soon as I woke up and throughout the night. I stayed 1 night in the hospital. I am day 4 post op and I just keep hearing my stomach grumbling and the feeling of “hunger”. Everything is so new so I don’t really know if I’m actually hungry or not. I’m on full liquids so I just take a few sips of a protein drink and that’s that. Is anyone else feeling hungry? I’m nervous I’m not doing something right since we hear so much before surgery that we won’t feel hungry after, idk.

Surgery finally rescheduled!! I’m 06/22 any others on that day? I’m so excited after waiting 3 months to be scheduled again

I finally got my rescheduled date!! I was canceled in Ohio less than 24 hours of my surgery time.... I did the whole 2 week liquid only diet, then boom!! My NEW surgery date is 06/22 and I start my liquid diet again tomorrow!!!! I am so excited. Wow ?

Yes I’ve definitely blew my diet since finding out surgery was canceled 03/17.. I can’t seem to shake my frustration with my journey being postponed.. any TIPS??

Well..... I got notice that my surgery scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled he to the Corona Virus I’m bummed out I’ve been on the liquid diet 2 weeks waiting for the day to come now only to be told they have no idea when they will be allowed to schedule me.. I’m leaving work to go home and cry.. I honestly feel so hopeless right now.. sorry for the vent

I have to do liquids for 4 weeks after surgery then move to puree foods for 4 weeks then soft foods like eggs for 4 weeks sounds similar

I am currently on day 3 of my 2 week liquid diet where I am only allowed to drink 5 protein shakes a day and 1-2 sugar free Popsicle or 1cup of jello and of course water...... I can't wait for this 2 weeks to be over with. I wish mine was only a 24 hour liquid diet!
