Hi, I have a 10cc AP Band. When I had my surgery the Dr put in 1.6cc, today he put in another 2cc. I didn't feel any discomfort during the fill. But tonight I keep throwing up slime and can't even drink water. I was able to drink water after the fill but tonite nothing is going down.

Hi, I just had my first fill this afternoon. I was able to get down 3oz of water before I left the doctors. But now I can't get anything down, I am on liquids for today but so far I can't even get water down without throwing up.

Hi, I was banded on June 9.2008. LBT is an amazing place with a lot of amazing people. Thanks to everyone for their honesty and talking about their day to day struggles, it's been a source of hope for me. Liz

Hi, I started mushies yesterday, my doctor only wants me to have one mushy meal a day. I too had problems after eating, I'm not sure if it was guilt. I've worked so hard to lose the weight I have and eating this meal made me feel like I blew it. I get restricted in 3 weeks. Can't wait.

Hi, I was banded 6/9/08. I can't seem to drink anything but water, I don't feel hungry and the thought of drinking anything but water gets me nauseous. I'm still in a little pain and take Tylenol. I just generally don't feel well. I had to fast the day before my surgery so I haven't had solid food for over 2 weeks (liquid pre-op diet) and haven't eaten anything of value for 4 days. Hope tomorrow I can drink a protein shake. Any advice?

Thanks, I've taken your advice today and been sipping all day, but I feel like I have an upset stomach and gassy! ugh hope tomorrow will be better

Thanks Benny, I feel nauseous too ....it is probably the water. I'm gonna do as you suggested and not drink the water before and after my protein drink, thanks for the help.

Hi, I am new to this forum. I was banded 3 days ago. I am having trouble drinking my protein shakes. I am not hungry which is making it hard to get them down. But I have been drinking a lot of water. I am not sure if I am suppose to "not feel" hungry, I haven't had solid food since the Saturday before my surgery. Ugh.
