Concerned
That sounds about right..i had my surgery on Nov.6 2019 and I've lost about 60 lbs myself. Like you u thought it should've been more by now too but from the comments it sounds quite typical. A month after surgery I lost quickly though. I thought it'd be around the same pace. Sent from my REVVLRY using BariatricPal mobile app

Help! Hair Shedding
Hi I'm a little over 6 months post op and my hair is shedding ALOT. My hair has never she'd so much and I fear I might go bald more than two handfuls of hair. I've heard this could be a side effect of surgery. Has anyone else experienced this? and does it ever stop?? Please help. Sent from my REVVLRY using BariatricPal mobile app

Sharp pinching pain (left side)
I think you're still healing...I had mine on November 6 and still feel little twinges and things here and there the location where you feel it is actually where your stomach is situated. Sent from my REVVLRY using BariatricPal mobile app

Still having pain in my right side
I had the same issue after my surgery back in November. I went to my doc and it's basically the site where the surgery was performed. They put a stich in your abdominal muscle to close up that hole then stich the skin. The pulling is from the stich in the stomach muscle Sent from my REVVLRY using BariatricPal mobile app

Surgery 1/9- localized pain in lower tummy
This happened to me and I went to my doc. He told me that the area I was having the pain at near my belly button was the site of the surgery. Once they pull out your stomach organ they stich the muscle layer and skin so its the most painful area after surgery. Sent from my REVVLRY using BariatricPal mobile app

Help, I am Hungry!!
What helped me at the 6 day mark was chicken noodle soup with non-flavored protein powder. You have to make sure you get your daily protein minimum and stay hydrated!! The first 2 weeks are the hardest because your body is getting used to the shock after surgery. You got this!! Sent from my REVVLRY using BariatricPal mobile app
