  15. Don't give up....in my area you have to see psych twice and the nutrition people twice. But thats about it...we don't need all the sleep studies and other studies that most people are talking about...Go with the flow...jump through hoops if you have to...some day it will be worth it...l've jumpped through all my hoops, just waiting for my insurance to approve me...
  16. l know in my area, they won't even concider doing lap band on you if you have IBS or any intestinal issues,,,l'm in the Northeast..
  17. My Surgeon said he'd have me ready in 8 weeks..well l'm at 12 weeks now, still waiting for my insurance company to say OK..appartently they are usually the biggest hold up...no reason for them to move fast l guess:redface:
  18. My surgeons office is so dam busy that they have lost the human touch part of the surgery....we aren't just numbers...when all is said and dione, l will definately voice my opinion to my surgeon...sad to think they are so ig they don't have to care...they forget its us paying their salaries..
  19. According to B/C and B/S l don't need prior approval for lap banding, yet my surgeons office states l need prior approval.... l even called the insurance company back several times just to make sure. l feel like l'm left in limbo, but this time by the surgeons office...Naturally the person who does all the insurance billing for the surgeon, was out sick today...another long week of waiting, hoping and praying that this would all work out... My surgeons office seems to be so disorganized...

  25. Hard to believe with an eating problem such as you state that any professional would have approved you for the band. l would seriously find a new doctor to help you with you struggle.
