  1. Congrats! My one month is this Friday, keep it up you're doing great!
  2. Well yesterday was my post op appt. it went very well, dr said my incisions are healing and I did great my first week. I lost 8 lbs the first week, 52 more to go. I can start going to the gym and hit the treadmill and slowly start introducing a little more foods into my diet. I go back on the 6th of August for my first fill. Hope everyone is doing great!
  3. I also had a repair during banding, I'm 8 days post op and feel fine. It'll get better, good luck to you.
  4. Remember we didn't put the weight on in one day, so it's not going to come off in one day. It taks time and and losing it slow is good. Good luck to you on this journey!
  5. That's exactly what I paid. My insurance denied me at the last min, I already had a surgery date. So a friend told me to go to true results and they found a hiatal hernia and my ins covered that.
  6. Cereal is too much, try cream of wheat
  7. Congratulations! I'm 6 days post op and feel good. Take it easy and walk to help get all the gas out. This forum is awesome, I've learned a lot from others here.
  8. I read on my discharge papers that I should be taking multi Vitamins. Can someone tell me what I should be taking?
  9. I'm 6 days banded and have been on liquids. Yesterday I had oatmeal with milk and had no problems. Wondering if cottage cheese would be ok to eat. Does anyone know?
  10. Is it too early for soft foods if I was banded 5 days ago?
  11. Finally after 6 years of research and disappointment because of insurance my surgery was today. So far feeling good and hardly any pain at all. I only need to loose 65 lbs and hopefully diabetic free!! Good luck to all that are on this journey!
