  1. I'm 14 weeks out. On the days this happens, it's legitimate hunger with stomach growls & all! It's odd...definitely doesn't happen everyday.
  2. I didnt want to eat anything for a few weeks after surgery. I had zero hunger. I had to make myself take sips of liquids & protein shakes for the first few weeks. It gradually got more normal after about week 2 or 3
  3. No issues with mine. Took the meds as prescribed & got lots of rest. I was actually up walking around the night I had surgery talking to the nurses [emoji3]
  4. Question for all my sleeve peeps! Some days I am hungry & want to eat all day (and I am able to eat small amounts frequently). Today is one of those days. On the other hand, there are days when i can barely take more than a few bites & get full almost immediately. Has anyone else experienced this?
  5. I still feel hungry sometimes. My surgeon tells me it's normal. It's a very different type of hunger but hunger for sure. Usually it happens when I go to long without eating (which happens WAY easier now)!
  6. I take Omeprazole. Without it it I have reflux so bad I cant even keep water down. Don't freak out about losing a specific amount of weight in a self defined time. Everyone's body is different & will lose differently. You hot this!
  7. It gets easier! I've found that if I add something to my water (crystal light, etc) I can drink it much easier. This was a weird development for me because I've always liked water & been a big water drinker. But hey....whatever works!
  8. I had depression/regret about 3 weeks out. Just stay strong. It will pass. Find a strong support group. Does your surgeon over groups?
  9. Keep it up! Pre-OP diet was the hardest for me. I had to keep some kind of liquid handy at all times. And chew gum.....
  10. Hi everyone! I had my surgery done 7 weeks ago. Does anyone have recommendations on cookbooks or recipes?
